This place has lots of personality. The food is good, and staff worked exceptionally hard, but there was obviously a major miscommunication between the person who booked our group and onsite management. We were a large group ~40 and it seemed like only one person was helping us.

Red Robin in Folsom is now closed.
We stopped in on our way to the Notre Dame vs. Stanford football game.
There were five of us in our party.
We were greeted and seated within five minutes.
Restaurant was clean, organized and busy.
We ordered their “yummy burger special ” ( I think that is the name of it, I could be wrong)
For $9,99 you get a double burger, all you can eat fries, and a drink.
As an appetizer, we had the mozzarella sticks.
Food served hot and was very tasty.
Staff was very friendly.

Unlimited fries makes this place great. Hamburgers are good and service is good only because if your server isn’t around other servers will help you. Did have mistake on our bill so make sure you check your bill always.

Ambiance and service were top notch. However, the food was dripping with oil and tasted pretty average. We ordered a special Jalapeno Love Sandwich with bottomless fries (unlimited) and fried Brussel Sprouts. Both were bit greasy and kinda salty!

They need more workers in there. Our server was nice but she had a lot going on, so not the best service. But it’s not her fault. Also, ordered the Jalapeño Heatwave burger, they smear the tiniest bit of avocado on the top bun, just not as pictured what so ever. Good fries though. Edit: I actually don’t think they even added avacado, just the green sauce on the top bun. It’s Okay, I will give them grace. Thank you.

Been coming here for years and the Fish and Chips has been my favorite and go to. My last experience a few days ago was so so. My server Luigi was great but my issue was with the kitchen. I’ve had this happen before to where I’m being served fries that’s NOT FRESH. I’m not sure why the kitchen will refry the fries which makes them dark and gross tasting. Fish was ok but the fries did not cut it.

I wish I could tell you how the food was. But we waited 20 mins for our server that said they would be back and never came. But had time to go to other tables and talk with her boyfriend at the bar.

I love Red Robin’s menu, but to say the staff tonight had a horrible attitude would be generous. We sat in the bar for 20 minutes without whomever was the waiter/waitress asking us for our order. When we tried to flag down who we thought was the waitress she nearly scolded us for asking. Apparently they were doing us some big favor by my wife and I showing up in the first place. We walked out.

I want to thank Red Robin General Manager Justyn Stradford for accommodating our large group for a “Celebration of Life” luncheon. Mr. Stanford made sure our group sat together and we had everything we needed. Our server, named “Angel” work hard to make sure our food and drink was served quickly. We all appreciated her hard work to serve us.
