My recent visit to Lumes was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t stop thinking about the Louisiana skillet—it was perfectly cooked, with all the flavors coming together beautifully. My companion’s eggs, bacon, and hash browns meal was equally impressive; the eggs were done just right. What truly stood out, though, was the wonderful service. When we asked to swap out the regular toast for French toast, the staff handled it with a smile and zero complaints. This level of quality and customer care makes Lumes a true gem. If you’re looking for a top-tier breakfast spot, this is it! I would give it 10 stars in a heartbeat.

Lumes is a great place for breakfast. I had the pancakes and eggs and it was so good. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the eggs were cooked just right.
The food came out hot and fresh, and the portions were perfect. Just enough to fill me up! The place was clean and the staff was very nice.

We came in this morning after a long flight. The front didn’t leave any menus for us and after we were seated we had asked our server, she brought over the pot of coffee and no menus, then proceeded to try to take our order without us even having a menu in our hands. After we asked for our menus again, in a condensing voice says, “ oh you don’t have menus.” Excuse me, I didn’t know having customers come thru your doors was a bad thing? Overpriced, coffee is watered down, and the food is extremely disappointing. First and last time I will be taking my family here.

It’s a nice local place but I wish they didn’t use canned fruit for their pancakes or french toast. They do have freshly squeezed orange juice which is delicious. The service was great. The guy taking care of us was very attentive and friendly. The only thing is the food that wasn’t that great.

This place was slammed & the service never missed a step. An extremely efficient crew. Every table had guests, & I never once waited on a refill on my coffee. Watched the bus boy step in when needed & had tables cleaned within seconds of the client leaving. Observed the Manger assessing, & performing his leadership role. My biscuits & gravy were just okay but, I could easily tell that biscuits & gravy isn’t what they’re known for. The wife’s BLT looked & tasted amazing. Extremely fresh condiments & the hashbrown was perfect.

My cousin and I came here for breakfast today. As I live in the area, I am actually surprised I had not been here before now…but hey, better late than never. I got there first and got our table situated, and when my cousin came it was time for us to eat!
I ordered the Aloha omelette with pancakes and a side of bacon, and my cousin had a Belgian waffle and some bacon. Let me say, at first glance, the place looks slightly dated but don’t let that fool you…the food and service here is pretty damn good!
Tiffany was our server, and she got us started with juice and coffee. She had such a pleasant demeanor and was pretty attentive the entire time, and didn’t even mind when my cousin ordered food to go.
I will say we were there about 10:30 in the morning and the place was hoppin’! But, you seem to get a table relatively quickly.
Anyhow, the omelette was great! Pineapple, jack cheese, potatoes, and ham. the hash browns were pretty crispy, and the pancakes were nice & soft just like I like them. Not to mention, my coffee was awesome!! My cousin said her food was good also!
Overall, I would definitely come back. Outside of the place being slightly dated as I mentioned before, this was a nice place for food, coffee, and conversation with my cousin. Also, the food is fairly priced.
Give ’em a try…you’ll be back!

we ordered pancakes and biscuits and gravy and when we got home i noticed they were both raw in the middle.. proceeded to call and ask for credit or a refund and the lady was very rude and unhelpful to speak with and they said there was nothing they could do and blamed us for not seeing it there… wouldn’t recommend.
