My family’s 1st time here. We enjoyed ourselves. The cook was amazing. He was fun, he interacted with us completely. Only thing I would change is more rice. They give good portions of vegetables and meat. There is an automatic 22% gratuity when more than 5 people. I bill was 307 for 8 people.

Arrived at reserved time and then had to wait for 15 min to be seated. Then waited another 15 min to get served. The staff were worn out. No smiles. Another 15 min before the show started. Chef was uninspired and you could feel the waves of boredom come crashing down as he performed like a trained seal. Ouch! Talk about low energy from everyone at this place! The salad was dripping wet, I mean Chick-fil-a salads are a step up! My drink was way too watery as if the bartender had forgotten about the shaker and just let the ice melt for a few minutes before giving it a tepid shake. The fried rice tasted like it had been cooked in wax. Awful. The highlights were the filet and the scallops, both of which were tasty. Overall? I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

Is it just me or has Ichiban quality in food has declined in reference to r3he Hibachi specifically. I ate it end of last year and thought it was just my taste buds but I tried it again 2 days ago and the food is now pretty much tasteless. It doesn’t appear to have seasoning as well aa the teriyaki sauce is basically colored water. Prices have increased and the quantity has decreased. Those I wouldn’t mind as much if the quality of the taste of the food was maintained to prior standards.

This place is getting worse to worst. We were there to celebrate a birthday and had a reservation for two at Hibachi at 8 PM. We got there on time and were seated. There was just another couple at our table so total of 4 people. A young kid came and took our order, he forgot to take drink orders so we had to call him again again after 15 mins. The chef came and was so cold. There is no more fun or entertainment like it use to be in the past. The cooking was done by 8:30 and while we were still half way thru our dinner, server came and asked if we need to go boxes. Then he came back with the checks…..we felt so rushed through our dinner and it totally ruined the bday celebration. The hibachi had another table full. We wanted to sit and relax, order desserts but the cleaning crew came with the broom and pan. Thats when we decided to get up and leave. Imagine spending almost $150 for a 45 mins of lame dining experience. These young kids needs to be trained well and restaurant needs to learn how to respect their customer’s time. Just because they want to close at 9 PM does not mean we customers have to rush through our dinner. Either dont take reservations an hour before you close or FIX EVERYTHING about this placr.

We love coming here for the sushi. They have a large menu and it’s usually served very quickly. It’s not the cheapest in the world but it’s reasonable, especially for the area and the quality. I think it’s better than the other options in the area. It’s a hibachi place, so there’s not a ton of alternate seating but there is enough that we usually don’t have a wait. This is currently our favorite sushi spot in the area. I love the salmon and spicy salmon roll and American idol roll. Also this restaurant has a nice interior and a bar where you can be seated any time.

Absolutely unacceptable. The service at Ichiban Steak and Sushi Alpharetta was terrible from start to finish. The staff was slow, inattentive, and clearly did not care. We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday and they completely forgot it. No acknowledgment and no apology.
If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, do not come here. We will not be returning.

Came by to have lunch on my birthday with my husband. It was a Tuesday and wasn’t busy at all. The avocado sushi was good and had hibachi with chicken, shrimp and veggies The taste was good and was very filling. The hibachi experience was good and we had a good time coming for the first time.

This place gives Benihana’s a run for their money. First let me say that it was one of the BEST amaretto sours I’ve ever had and they didn’t even know how to make it! Our chef was funny and amazing! Our table was kinda quiet though except me me and babe. The service was excellent and no long wait for a table. The food was delicious too!
