Burger King, I must express my deep disappointment with your current standards of professionalism and customer service. It’s evident that the quality of service has significantly declined, and this is not just an isolated experience but a recurring pattern. The wait times are excessively long; at times, customers are forced to stand in line for several minutes just to place their orders. The situation becomes so dire that some patrons, frustrated and impatient, simply walk out without ever making a purchase—an unfortunate testament to how poor the service has become.

When I finally do receive my order, it’s often hastily thrown together—stuffed into a bag with little care or attention. The presentation of the food is lacking, giving the impression that it was assembled by someone who either doesn’t care or is overwhelmed by the chaos behind the counter. Opening my sandwich at home, I can’t help but feel that it was put together with minimal effort, reflecting a disregard for quality and customer satisfaction that used to be a hallmark of reputable establishments.

There was a time when restaurants took pride in their food quality and customer experience, but it feels like Burger King has shifted focus solely to maximizing quantity at the expense of quality. This shift is disheartening, especially because I have a genuine affection for the brand—it’s a place I once trusted and enjoyed. Sadly, the current environment seems to be plagued by inadequate staffing, which exacerbates the chaos. The lack of enough personnel to manage each station leads to confusion, delays, and a disorganized workflow that ultimately impacts the customer experience.

The high turnover rate at Burger King is another symptom of deeper issues. It appears that staff are overworked, underappreciated, and often treated disrespectfully, creating a cycle where employee dissatisfaction fuels higher turnover. Some employees seem disinterested or unmotivated, sometimes even neglecting their shifts entirely. This not only affects the morale of the team but also directly impacts the quality of service provided.

Burger King, it’s clear that significant changes are necessary—not just for the sake of your customers, but for the well-being of your employees as well. Improving staffing levels, fostering a respectful work environment, and prioritizing quality over mere speed and quantity are essential steps toward restoring the brand’s integrity.

Please take this feedback seriously. It’s time to reevaluate your operational priorities and implement meaningful improvements. The current state of affairs is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope you can get your house in order. It’s not just about maintaining a fast-food chain; it’s about respecting your customers and your staff enough to do better.

Why are the doors closed in the daytime??
I order food in the app thinking I can go inside and just pick it up it’s already paid for right. No the doors are locked nobody can go inside and I have to wait in a line for over 30 minutes to get food I already ordered but has just been sitting there I asked for the order to be remade but was told it’s in the process of being made now. However I get my food and it’s cold nothing was made fresh.

Usually love this location, but tonight was a bit different. I don’t know her name (but was working around 6:30pm, on 09/05/25), but the lady working the drive-thru/window was very rule. Not so much what she said; while taking our order it was obvious she had an attitude, and then charged us for (then neglected to add “ANY” condiments.). We felt especially targeted because she seemed so friendly with the lady in the car ahead of us, but then we were greeted with an attitude. In addition to the unnecessary attitude, she would make a query about our order, and then cut us off while we were trying to reply to it.

This goes for both Burger Kings in Decatur Alabama, they are the slowest drive-through you will ever go through. They definitely give a Whataburger a run for Slowness. Always understaffed .

230 in the afternoon on Thursday, drive through cashier puts me on hold and completely forgets the drive through exists because it isnt beeping. At least 7 cars lined up. 5 leave before i pull up to the window. Tried talking to the speaker to no avail. When i get to the window and tell her there are people lined up and leaving she says it didnt beep. I said its 230 and the drive through didnt just stop so i was refused service and told to leave. We could hear the cashier screaming at other employees through the drive through so the speaker was certainly working. Inability to operate the speaker leads into questions of training by the general manager, and questions of sanitary proceedures we cant see. The general manager was on duty during this fiasco and didnt find it odd that no drive through orders were being taken. What we can see here is glaring and a district manager should be involved by now. I see a public health disaster on the way.

Absolutely horrible! I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes to get my order taken. Then after receiving my order. They took another 10 minutes to start taking his order then I heard them inform him they were out of BURGERS!!! How are you out of burgers but the lights are still on??? Is it not called “Burger King”??

If I could rate negative stars I would. This location has went downhill bad. From drive thru times to the food. A simple Bacon Double cheeseburger and a fry is what I order on my lunch break at night..But what they give me is double cheeseburger with no bacon that seems like it’s been sitting all day and some sticks of wood for fries. If you’re thinking about eating there JUST DONT. For the price of a whopper combo I just put a little more with it and get a Burger and fry from Applebees.

I had an amazing experience at Burger King! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly employees who were not only super nice but also incredibly fast. My order was taken promptly, and my food was ready in no time.

The restaurant was impressively clean, making it a pleasant place to enjoy my meal. I also noticed the managers interacting with the staff and customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that this team takes pride in their work!

Overall, I highly recommend this Burger King location for its delicious food, outstanding service, and spotless environment. I can’t wait to come back!

It’s a busy lunch hour and there is one person running the register AND calling out the ready orders. The line is long and the tables are dirty. Management needs to do a better job of staffing. The food itself was as expected, and the person on the register disserves credit for handling the pressure as best she could.
