At Maine Street Coastal Cuisine, in the heart of historic downtown Cartersville, we pride ourselves on sourcing seafood from sustainable fisheries. We are striving to maintain our goal in following the guidelines of the Marine Stewardship Council. We also provide antibiotic-free farmed fish and local poultry and beef. Whenever possible we source organic and local produce. Our passion is to provide a restaurant free of artificial flavors and ingredients. Probably the best fish I’ve had in Georgia. The blackened haddock with the lemon sauce was fantastic and our server savannah was excellent and very helpful. Lunch prices are great too (~$15 a plate) and the chocolate lava cake was cheaper than most places ($7.50) and great as well. Highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants. The food is fresh and wonderful, and the atmosphere is elegant and upscale. The menu has many great options. I usually order the firecracker shrimp and “off the boat,” which is the available fish for the day. A must-have!

Main Street Coastal Cuisine is a great place to eat. The food was amazing, I had the “fresh catch” Seabass it was cooked perfectly with a side of collard greens that matched in flavor. My GF had the beet salad and oysters Rockefeller that was also prepared with perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant anytime you are near Cartersville. Honorable mention to our server Jason for being extremely professional, willing to answer all our questions, and was an absolute gentleman.

The first time I tried this restaurant was on New Year’s Eve 2025 – this restaurant was AMAZING everything was delicious. I am normally not big on seafood and I do not order fish, but I decided to order fish and chips, which was white fish prepared with a light breading and a side of their fresh cut fries. It was so much food, I definitely had leftovers! But I cannot give enough stars for this place, it was AMAZING!

Lovely experience! The food was spot-on & everything from the appetizer to dessert was A+, the service was amazing, & drinks were just right! Will definitely be back soon! Absolutely LOVED the atmosphere.. intimate, dimmed, & quiet, but not too quiet. My server was top notch, checking in to make sure my drinks were filled, but not so much as to be intruding on our mother-daughter dinner. Love this place!

This American restaurant is definitely known for its seafood. The steak wasn’t bad for the price, but the seafood is clearly the star here. If you’re coming, I’d strongly recommend ordering from the seafood menu.

We love Main Street Coastal, But last night, they went above and beyond! We came in later than we normally would have due to family matter and they accommodated our large party quickly! Food was prepared well and the service was excellent. Ordered the fish and chips and it came out crispy and well cooked. Salmon was flavored perfectly with the caper sauce. Mussels and the calamari are amazing and well portioned
