Having visited Italy last summer we were reminded of the quaint, sidewalk restaurants and bistros in Montelpuciano and Montalcino (two Tuscan villages we stayed in) as soon as we walked into Cafe Paradiso!

We enjoyed our meal so much last week that we returned this week! Last week was the meat lovers pasta and it was excellent. It is spicy but not so much that the heat drowns out the flavor. I washed it down with a very good pinot noir.

This week was the carbonaraand it, too, was spicy and delicious. The fresh baked bread adds to the overall authenticity of Cafe Paradiso!

The level of service was second to none. Nadina and Greg were so friendly and added to our enjoyment!

Highly recommend reservations!

Tucked in an alley, Café Paradiso stuns with its black-and-white palette, gold accents, and elegant vibe. The browned butter oat milk latte on tap was so good I went back two days in a row ☕️. The strawberry matcha latte was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Great service + stunning atmosphere = a must-visit coffee spot in the city!

Absolutely amazing food! Kathy was our server. She was very sweet and cheery. We had the mushroon ravioli, pepperoni pizza, and the build your own pasta with the roasted red pepper sauce and meatballs. Everything was absolutely delicious. As well as the bread and butter.

If you want an authentic Italian cafe dining experience this is your place. Authentic atmosphere and flavors!

The cranberry lemon-cello cosmo was delicious. It was light and refreshing and full of sweet citrus flavor. Great starter drink and palate cleanser.

For lunch I had the Chicken Florentine pizza. The crust was perfectly cooked, crunchy but not overly tough, each piece held its shape for a perfect bite. The crust had an amazing olive oil and rosemary flavor and each slice had chicken, cheese and spinach so nothing was missed.

Brilliant! An absolute delight

Went here for dinner on January 9th. Eileen S was our server she did a great job in her recommendations. Food was outstanding! I would recommend that you make reservations as this restaurant is small but well worth the trip!! Enjoy and God bless

We had a great experience at this restaurant. (To start, I will say we made reservations for 2 on a Tuesday night, and I’m glad we did. It’s a small space with few tables and it filled up quickly. There is limited bar seating and outdoor seating.) The atmosphere was cozy and quirky. We had a friendly and attentive waitress who made good recommendations. My husband got the Sicilian meatloaf (amazing!) and I “made my own” pasta: cheese tortellini with pesto. It was outstanding. Their sangria, peach iced tea, and selection of desserts were also great. I wish we lived locally so we could make this a regular spot!

While visiting family in Springfield, we had the pleasure of having lunch here. Such an amazing atmosphere! We instantly felt at home, and the waitress was a big reason for this. The food was hearty and delicious, and the Italian soda was the best I’ve had. Highly recommended!

A very typical small-town Italian restaurant. Given how small it is reservations are a must on the weekends. We sat in one of the window tables. Comfortable and cozy, it was a nice little nook to have dinner.

Overall, there was good service, the food was good, and there were decent-sized servings. The mussels that we had were cooked properly, the pasta was a little more than al dente, and the chicken was not overdone and the sauce complimented it.

One the downside, the wine list is very average, and they did not have the ability to make an Aperol spritz, nor a negroni.
