I gave the food 4 stars because the mashed potatoes came from a box and the corn was extremely bland. Those I would have given a 1 or 2 star review, but the pot roast and gravy were excellent and deserving of 5 stars on their own. I didn’t find out about the buffet until I was half done eating my pot roast. I checked it out after finishing. It was small, but looked pretty good. Not sure it would have been worth missing that pot roast for though.

Stopped into Marlin’s Family Restaurant while passing through and ordered the Marlin Burger with fries and a slice of pie. The portions were hearty, the food came out hot and well-cooked, and the burger was especially satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive, and the diner-style atmosphere felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The noise level was just right. Marlin’s delivers classic comfort food.

The waitress was very friendly and engaging. She encouraged the Sunday buffet to us. It would be great for a truck driver. I did find plenty to eat. I understand the large Carmel rolls at the counter were excellent from my son.

Impeccable service, and delicious food is what you can expect when you go to Marlin’s. Autumn was our server, knocked it out of the park!! My server coco was very friendly and quite a giggle. I ordered the cheese curds appetizer to start. They were amazing perfectly cooked. a premium curd that held its shape coated with a panko crumb that was amazing. I got the bacon burger with fries for a main course. The burger was cooked perfectly, very flavorful an juicy. The bun was well toasted and the fries were fresh and hot. I had the oreo pie for dessert and it was delicious as expected. over all a wonderful experience and worth the stop

The food tasted old, only took one bite of Patty Melt. The bread and meat was the worse, that I ever tasted. I had sent it back and didn’t order anything. Wasn’t hungry anymore. My sister-n-law had ordered eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. The hashbrowns were cold and not cooked. Had to send back to get it cooked the right way. My fiance ordered also and her food wasn’t good at all. Never going back. The other meal was supposed to be hot roast beef sandwich. Didn’t taste good, the corn was not good either. Didn’t eat it, we just left disappointed.

Truck stop food. Fairly good buffet but not replenished often. Many choices and a good salad bar. Food was pretty fresh on the buffet and there were several patrons having the buffet. Booth and table seating available. Atmosphere was of a typical truck stop.

The waitress was really nice and good. The 3 stars is because there were so many flies in the restaurant that it impeded on our ability to enjoy the food. The other thing is the hot dip sandwich and turkey noodle soup lacked in seasoning, particularly salt.
