Came in for lunch with a coworker and took a bite of my rice. It tasted fine, but then I noticed the pepper was pretty large. it was not pepper, it was dozens and dozens of cooked gnats. Only offered 25% off of my meal, which only covered the cost of my drink. Even though when they brought me “fresh” (it was the same chicken and shrimp. From my first plate but reheated) I said I didn’t want any rice or vegetables. Paid full MEAL price for some nasty chicken and rubbery shrimp.

I have eaten here for YEARS and the food is always great and compared to other hibachis the prices are decent. But recently I dined in and had the absolute worst experience ever and it was honestly embarrassing because I brought other people who have never dined there before. I called ahead and confirmed when they sat their last table (they close at 9:30) and they told me as long as I came before 9:00 it would be good. We got there at 8:15 and proceeded to wait 30 minutes to be seated because we had to wait for our whole party (but only 1 person wasn’t with us yet) and then they took a while cleaning off the table. So about 8:45 we got to be seated and we were informed an extra member would be joining but not eating and our server began being completely disrespectful to us. She then rushed our entire order and got mad when we weren’t ready. Basically everything we wanted to order she said had been “shut down at 8:00” which made no sense since that was an hour and a half before close and nobody mentioned that when I called ahead. She was completely rude and didn’t even try to serve us well. Our cook was very nice and gave us the normal time for the “show” and it’s just such a shame because I’ve never had an experience like this before there and it’s just completely ruined it for me. I’m not sure what our servers name was but it was a 20 something year old white lady and she NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Our server was great.
However while eating other staff started cleaning and the area smelled like strong cleaning agents. I needed a to go box for my food. The birthday girl in our party went to pay for her food and fell due the floors being wet.
This team is more concerned with closing early than ensuring that the guests have a pleasant dining experience. The floor was very slippery and the birthday girl ended up with two hurt knees and soiled clothes from the fall.
The team checked on her but it was not thorough. No one offered her ice or took her information to do an accident report. I asked to speak with a manager and the staff I spoke with was rude. She did not even attempt to offer an apology or get our information.
We will not be back and I pray that the young lady in our party does not need medical attention. If so, Sakura will be hearing from us.

Poor service and the restaraunt is filthy. The entire area around the hibachi tables is caked in grease from the ceiling to the walls. Our chef let food fall into the trough where they usually discard food and still served it.

Besided all that, the food wasn’t even very good. One of us got sick after this meal.

The food was terrible! Ordered Edamame, it was soggy. Hibachi was nasty, weird after taste. Allysa the waitress was great. The Manager Winnie was rude, degrading, and extremely unprofessional! We paid $113 dollars for the worst experience we ever had! Will Never Return! My recommendation is run to any other restaurant.

Came in and was immediately shown a automaticity added 18% Gratuity tip on all orders. We looked at the menu and when placing our order they said they were out of filet steak . Food came and my noodles were completely inedible as the noodles tasted like they swapped salt with sugar . On top of that the rest of the food was decent at best and not good comparable to other hibachis I’ve had with much better food . When we they came to collect our food we told them about the noodles and asked if they were going to charge for inedible noodles . They said they were going to speak with management, and they said they could only take off the noodles ( that means the combo that we paid more for would pretty much be at a loss of money as they were only taking off the upgrade from rice to noodles ). On top of that the prices were overpriced for the quality of food they were providing . I would not recommend this place to anybody. Instead of wasting your time and money here, go literally anywhere else—Chikuyo Tei and Fukutoku are right down the road and actually know how to treat customers. Even Mikado in Nashville is worth the short drive if you want food that doesn’t taste like regret. I ordered hibachi noodles and they somehow replaced the salt with sugar, so unless you’re craving dessert pasta and disappointment, stay far away.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I love the food at this place and it makes me sad that I will no longer be ordering or dining in there. When I dine in, the food is right but the service is literally the worst you will ever receive. Severs take your order and then never come back after that. Then they decide to add an 18%gratuity to every check, even to single person checks. I always tip over 20% because I know they share tips with the chefs but demanding me to tip is just in ridiculous so I no longer tip anything outside of the 18%. The situation that broke me from ever going back though was the fact that I order multiple orders a week from this restaurant and I always call in after I order and ask them to cook my steak rare, because there isn’t an option for that online. Everytime I order, regardless of the fact that I call in, it’s always wrong. It’s always cooked well done to the point it’s hard and hardly edible. Today I called and did the same thing as always, I called in after placing and asked them to cook the steak rare. Upon getting my order and getting home, my steak was indeed cooked very well done, yet again. When I called and told them about how this has happened multiple times, her answer was “well I looked at it and it was not cooked well done.” I said “maam I’m not trying to be argumentative but I just tried to eat this steak and it was so well done that I couldn’t chew it.” And to which she replied “well either you can bring my steak back or you can eat it.” I had drove 30 minutes in total for this food and didn’t want to get out again in the rain and she said “well all I can do for you is give you 10% off the next time you eat here because I don’t know how the chef’s do it, but it wasn’t well done” I politely told her that me not any of my friends or family would be going back to this restaurant. Not to mention the fact that they have like a 70 on their health score.

Very nice atmosphere with excellent service from waiters. The sushi is very fresh and SOOOOO delicious! If you do the hibachi, you’ll get a pretty good entertaining show from the chef. Definitely worth eating here and you won’t regret it!

Food is good i guess, but the lady up front is really rude and pushy. Also..i went in with a $50 gift card and they told me i couldn’t use the whole amount and she’d run it for $40. They did and the next time i tried to use that gift card i was told it only had $2 remaining on it….you do the math. But anyway, it always feels so hostile when i go to pick up my food. Probably won’t be returning.

Excellent hibachi experience!
Super friendly chefs and staff, delicious entre’s and the laughs were in abundance! We will definitely be back. The new volcano sushi roll is epic! The filet was nothing short of perfection and the rice was spot on delicious.
