We were hungry and this place didn’t have a wait later Saturday evening. The prices were reasonable for my husband and I sharing an appetizer and entree. The service was quick and the food hit the spot. I personally loved the mashed potatoes and gravy and then the spinach and artichoke dip.

Cute place with table, booth, at the bar and outdoor seating. Cozy and quiet feel. The build your own 1/2 pound hamburger was messy (in a good way) and delicious, as was the bone in fried chicken . Service was great. The really disappointing meal was the Mad Cow sandwich: buying sliced roast beef from the grocery store and drying it out in the oven is not the way to go.

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed it so much, we came back for dinner the same day! The food was absolutely delicious – especially the bacon-wrapped meatloaf, which is an absolute must-try. The mac and cheese and sauced Brussels sprouts made for the perfect sides. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. We also loved admiring the mini art gallery displayed on the walls – it added a unique touch. And Lily’s key lime pie? Quite possibly one of the best we’ve ever had. We’re seriously considering coming back for breakfast tomorrow!

Griffin is exceptional!! While we typically have brunch two or three times a month, he always remembers our name, drink, and food preferences!!! Our only critiques would be: offer pancakes; serve real slices of ham versus deli slices; and, lastly, serve a better quality bacon (First Watch serves amazing bacon and they do not charge as much). Fatty and lean is not appealing.

I ordered to go food and when I got it home I found a clump of hair tucked in my salad. It’s the most hair I’ve ever had in food and made me gag. The picture honestly doesn’t do it justice because it kept going under the salad. The manager was a young lady who refunded me for the salad but honestly they should have done more. It ruined my night and my opinion of this place. I won’t ever return now. That was disgusting and I don’t feel like they handled it appropriately.

Good food, friendly service. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. I couldn’t get enough of them. Chicken fried steak was great. The mashed potatoes were a little more dry and crumbly than I prefer but the gravy was really good. The burgers are good, not too dry. We will definitely be back.

Southern Food Co will forever hold a special place in my heart after tonight. I hosted a rehearsal dinner here for an upcoming wedding and working with their catering department and on sight manager made us feel so special. The food was delicious, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere was as perfect for our families to sit, linger, and visit. I deeply appreciate their hospitality and kindness to us.

Cute atmosphere , we did go on a busy Saturday morning so the service was a little slow and there was a bit of confusion with one of the hostess when we arrived but the manager made it all better , bless her . The ‘fried chicken’ and waffles were a little dry , and the eggs were overcooked at the bottom, that I had to cut them with a steak knife , lol. I think it was just a bad time, I don’t know, but I will definitely try them out again .

I went there yesterday with friends from out of town, never been there before and other than our server forgetting about us, which really wasn’t a problem since we were catching up, everything was fine. Liked the atmosphere and the way the food was all served on different types of plates just like it came out of a real southern kitchen. My food was delicious!
