First time here. Many times we look for restaurants where we can eat outside on a patio etc. so we can have our dog with us and not left in the car. Rio Lerma did not disappoint. Staff was very accommodating and the service was prompt.
Now for the food. Fresh, tasty, and ample servings. I had chicken tortilla soup. Wow! Packed with chicken! Large bowl. I couldn’t finish it all. Ordered a side of beef fajita meat without seasoning or onions, for my pup. We dug in and forgot to take photos of our dishes. Therefore I’ll share a picture of my sweet dog while we sat outside.

Try this restaurant the staff was very friendly. They had a margarita special for $.99 y’all the food was really good Hot and cheesy a good portion! The margaritas were really good too. I usually get a flavored one, but I got the one that was on sale and they were really good. Just a plain margarita. Only thing I need was some music to enjoy my meal loved it. I think they’re better than Christina’s.

Went around 2p on a Tuesday. 1st time. Order the combo fajita. Very delicious. Good portion and large shrimp cooked to perfection. Would recommend 10/10. Restaurant clean. Wait staff really nice. Sorry no pic.

Really love this spot, they have great margaritas! The brisket tacos are my favorite thing to order. The service is hit or miss but it is well worth a try. They do offer a spicy(er) salsa that you can request for the table but it is served warm (not unheard of) but it is overpowering of bullion flavor. That is probably the only item I have received I was disappointed in. Overall I still love this location!

Let me say by far the best Mexican food in Forney.
Service was outstanding. I am a big on customer service and they are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend coming here.

Came in for some drinks only heard this place had some good margaritas. Wasn’t disappointed they have to be one of the few I’ve ever had that you can actually taste the liquor. I had the beerita and my wife the sangria margarita both were awesome. We did try the ceviche and was pretty good . We’ll need to come back and try the food I’m sure it’s just as great. Highly recommend this place . Update 1/5/24 we’ve been coming back since and really love the food here my to go plates are either the ceviche or the veggies enchiladas definitely recommend the place

We’ve been here four times now and each time the experience has been the same. Great food, great and fast service. The chile relleno, all the enchiladas, and the chimis are great. Can’t go wrong with a frozen margarita here either. Compared to other sit down Mexican restaurants in the Forney area, we prefer this one now.

This place is excellent. The verdes enchiladas are rich, flavorful, and made just right, and the quesadillas are consistently delicious. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend giving it a try.

We love the Shrimp Cocktail – the best we’ve EVER had & we’re oldish. The service rating is not the wait staff, they are awesome❣️❣️ It’s the Chef because every time we get the Shrimp Cocktail dinning in OR to go the ratio shrimp to sauce varies. 5 Out of 8 were perfect❣️ 2 Were heavy on the sauce & 1 short on the shrimp. I hope you understand, it was disappointing when we got home. I sincerely appreciate that sauce – the BEST❣️❣️✝️ ☮️
