The place was clean. The atmosphere was friendly & chatty with the establishment & other customers. The food was hot & very good. Not overseasoned. The wait time was good for fresh cooked food, no extraordinary wait time. I would definitely go back to this BLACK OWNED food joint.

I ordered a 2 piece whiting with one side(fried orka). The orka had no seasoning. I asked for a bottle drink, I was told it would be $1.50 more, so I asked her how much was the fountain drink, she told me it was the same price. So I asked, why can’t I have a bottle drink then? She said because I didn’t ask for one before my order was complete. That’s super crazy! In top of that, refills are $1.00. I’ll never eat here again.

Back after eating. the peach drink is great. I prefer it over American Deli. Sweet just enough.
The chicken…. just don’t. Or the okra. Go to JJs. I threw away my plate and only ate 1.5 pieces. Yup that bad.

After taking the fish cilantro back he then placed cold tomatoes & lettuce in hot fried fish
strips. Again too lazy to chop tomatoes and lettuce correctly.
Please don’t take a person’s hard earned money if your too lazy to prepare food correctly.
Some people take their money and their food preparation”very seriously,” if you get my drift.

The restaurant on MLK Jr Drive is so neat and clean. The atmosphere invites you to stay and eat there. The food on every occasion I have been has always been fresh hot and good.
