We went for our anniversary. We showed up at open, as in one other table sat before us, rest of the restaurant empty. We told them it was our anniversary and we were sat literally next to the other person who was waiting on 6 others. So an empty restaurant at the time and on my anniversary dinner you put us next to a large group. So I did take a star off for that. The food was mostly great. The fried okra chips were crispy and light maybe could of used some salt but good. The whipped feta with pita was very good. The French onion tartine is a big thick slice of bread with French onions on top with a slice of guyrer on top sitting in a really tasty broth, the bread was really chewy needs a minute in the broth, but really tasty. Ribeye was slightly overcooked not a big deal but for the price you’d expect nearly perfect. The red curry chicken was too hot for my husband but I loved the sauce. It was quite messy though. Ending with cheesecake with blueberry compote was very tasty and a good decision. Overall we will definitely be back to try more food. If the food is as good and the service good next time I will leave 5 stars. I just couldn’t hear my husband in a nearly empty restaurant, at the time, on our anniversary for being right against, like the back of my chair touching theirs, this group.

I’ve driven pass this place so many times when they were closed but never really gave it any real thought. We had a buddy come visit us on their way through Chattanooga so I was looking some new places up and this place popped up. I figured we would check it out and to my surprise, I hadn’t realized what i was missing out on until we finally went there. Ryan our server was fantastic, knowledgeable and so friendly. He tolerated our nonsense and tomfoolery very well. Everything he suggested was amazing and truly.. I can not wait to go back there again.

Our table of 4 drove in from Knoxville and Nashville straight to the warm hospitality of the hostess to our server Kyle, the cuisine, ambience, and experience was awesome! Kyle set the bar and took detailed care of us! In the restaurant the lighting was intimate and we could really fall into are conversation at our table, such a plus. The fried leeks and okra are a must as a starter… please do not forget the deviled eggs they are heavenly. The drinks were perfect- old fashioned, expresso martini to the lemon drop- everything was made perfect! Kyle thank for taking great care of us and we will ask for you when we come back.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner at Sidetrack!

The restaurant had a very upscale & swanky date night vibe / ambiance: dim lighting, open theme kitchen, etc.

We started off with the whipped feta and two cocktails: lemon drop and the sure thing. Drinks were great and highly recommend the feta as we saw many other reviews with it.

For entrees, we tried the shrimp & grits and pork chop with a side of wood grilled okra. The pork chop was absolutely incredible!

Coming to a place like this, you don’t leave without trying dessert which is why we got the coconut tres leches. What an ending.

Our waiter, Aaron, was very attentive, knowledgeable and hospitable throughout the evening.

We highly recommend Sidetrack, and this will be our spot we take out of town guests who are visiting.

One of the best restaurants in Chattanooga. The whipped feta and roasted carrots are absolutely outstanding. While the desserts don’t quite match the same level, the overall food is delicious and the atmosphere is excellent.

If you are looking for casual upscale dining, this is definitely the place. Our waiter, jacob was amazing and made sure that we had a great experience.
Pictures are: truffle fries, wood grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, spicy ricotta gnocchi and carrots, cheesecake with blueberry compote, coconut tres leches cake.

Service was incredible, and the staff were very kind. Quick with recommendations when asked for.

The fish was seared perfectly, and the homemade pita was made well and the seasoning was fantastic.

The decor is good and would be perfect for a date.

Oh. My. Yum!! My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was nothing short of perfection. Our server Michelle was excellent. She had a huge party come in not longer after we arrived and she STILL made us feel like we were her only table.
The food was excellent. The Brussels were the best we have ever had. Many restaurants do a Brussel sprouts appetizer, but not like here. Starting the meal off with this masterpiece really set the mood for the rest of the exquisite meal to follow. 10’s across the board.

Extremely popular restaurant, reservations are highly recommended. The mushroom appetizer to start the meal was exceptionally good. The entrees were cooked to perfection. Everything we ate was carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. I can’t say enough about how delicious our dinner was. The atmosphere was very lively, it did get a little loud that’s because everybody was having such a good time, it seems like the type of place that old friends get together and just enjoy the camaraderie of their friendship.
