Had stopped at white owl antique mall in Mount pleasant. Yelped for a nearby restaurant and found Buddy’s. So glad we went. My wife had the BLT, our friend had a hot dog, and I had the stuffed pepper, a blackboard special. We all really liked our meals. The stuffed pepper was delicious – the pepper shell soft and flavorful, the meat, rice and tomato sauce filling hearty and very tasty. We shared a jalapeno popper appetizer, which was super, crunchy outside with melty cheddar and the kick of the jalapeno. I look forward to visiting Buddy’s again when nearby to try some of the other menu items, and breakfast!

This was our second time here. There was one small issue with my husband’s food that they fixed with no problem. Everything was delicious! The service was great as well..our server was super nice, as was the young man that brought our order out. Thank you to everyone for being very understanding and going above and beyond. If you haven’t tried this place you need to…the mac and cheese will not disappoint and the unsweetened tea is some of the best out there.

I tried the Greek Burger with cucumber, tomato, feta cheese and lettuce with a side of fries. My husband had the pita burger and fries. The tzatziki sauce was great! The fried tasted amazing, were fresh and crispy. The waiter was polite and very attentive. We will be back!

Stopped in on a whim, As a reference from a friend And at first we weren’t sure because at 2 o’clock. They’re literally wasn’t a single person in it, To which I actually questioned the waitress.
Thirty minutes later there was a dozen or more people That had come in.
Displace is very large it’s clean it has a lot of seating, The waitresses were very nice, ours in particular was super Sweet and understanding as I have an egg allergy, So we had to discuss some stuff before I could order..
I endured getting a Patty melt with 2 cheese’s and grilled onions on grilled rye And I have to be honest, Although it didn’t look like something gordon ramsey made, It absolutely was the best tasting Patty melt I’ve had in twenty odd states that i’ve been in, And my wife’s gyro was absolutely delicious…
She also got the pumpkin cheesecake. And I had the apple pie both of which were fantastic so highly recommend

We stopped in after shopping at White Owl, and we so glad we did! If you love fried chicken, then you have to stop in here! We got the 1/4 white meat fried chicken. It was cooked right then, hot, fresh and so crispy it could make you cry. Very rarely can you find fresh, juicy, crispy fried chicken and this place delivers! We will definitely be back!

We have eating at Buddy’s for years.our 2 grandsons usually meet us there. The service is good and the staff is friendly. I love their Philly Cheese Steak. It is the best any where around. I have tried them all. My husband says the fish is better there than when we went to a Fish House. The onion rings are like the old fashioned one. The servings sizes are large. Prices are better than other restaurants in this area.

Third time coming in the last month and I’m consistently disappointed. Food is way too expensive for the quality. Portions are plentiful but soaked in grease not very tasty. Most recent purchase was the gyro and it couldn’t be further from it. Unfortunately I believe the lack of options in the area allow the three local restaurants to charge way too much.

I live close to Myrtle Beach and In the area that I live there are a multitude of “meat and 3” restaurants that serve fantastic country meals. When I come back to NC to visit my parents, I struggle with being able to find anything close to the quality of food that I can find in the SC Low Country. Buddy’s is amazing!!! This food is cooked with love, butter, meat fat and all of the seasonings. The collards were perfect. My 9 year old nephew, “the pickiest eater in America” loved the spaghetti and the Oreo mud pie and he said Buddy’s is a new favorite for him!!!! He then said he knows why they call it Buddy’s place, “because the food is so good that you want to be buddy’s with the cooks” . The owner stopped by our table to see how our meal was and server was great!!! I will be going back and I can’t wait to try something else as all of the food looked so good but it will be hard to venture away from their amazing County food.
