Honestly, some of the best Chinese food I’ve consumed in Houston. Notably, what’s different here is the cleanliness and how nice the staff is, which you normally don’t get in Bellaire so +1 for that. For the food, everything came out hot, straight from the kitchen. The ingredient quality was extremely fresh. I highly recommend trying the salt and pepper fish filet. The crunch they get on their batter is like no one else in Bellaire. Seasoning here is great, not overly salty. The only dish I wouldn’t get again would probably be the HK sweet and sour pork, but that’s only because it’s slightly too sweet for me and that’s a personal preference. Their roasted duck was a bit fatty, but still delicious. The skin had a great crisp on it, which I feel like most restaurants aren’t able to do, unless you’re getting it from an asian BBQ joint. Prices here are great, averaging $13-16 per entree. This is going to be my new go to for Chinese staple dishes!

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve been past it often and it’s always busy so I put it in my mind to try. I ordered food to go. The inside is nice and the customer service is off the charts!!! It’s very inviting. However, upon trying the food, I was disappointed. I had the Mongolian Beef. It had a decent portion size, but the beef was extremely tough. It was hard to enjoy. I will give it one more chance, however I will try something different. Also, depending on the day, especially the weekend, parking is CRAZY!!!! So bring your patience

East Wall has long been one of our favorite spots for Chinese. Expertly prepared Cantonese cuisine, at remarkably reasonable prices. Everything from Americanized Chinese classics to authentic Cantonese dishes are well represented. Don’t sleep on the Peking Duck.

Jami was our server; she did a fantastic job. Ask for her.

East Wall is our favorite restaurant for Peking duck as well as other dishes. We have been going there for at least 10+ years. Food is absolutely delicious! My son loves Peking duck and the bao/buns. I love their salted squid as well as stir-fried duck meat from the Peking duck. Service is top notch and you will not get that anywhere in Chinatown. Highly recommended this restaurant!!

East small restaurant is known for their Cantonese Chinese food. We arrived as a party of six around 7:30 PM on a Saturday evening and we do not have to wait for a table. Although we did have to wait about 20 minutes for food after we ordered. Overall, the vibe is lively, service is friendly in the food is decent. I would recommend the eggplant dish, stirfry noodles and the salt and pepper fish.

Every dish we ordered was impressive from start to finish. The Peking duck was the highlight with perfectly crisp skin and tender, flavorful meat. The bok choy was cooked just right with balanced seasoning that did not overpower the natural taste. The dim sum was fresh, delicate, and absolutely satisfying. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place I would return to again.

Overall a great restaurant. Food came hot and seasoned well. Our party of 5 came during dead hours and only 1 server , but she food came out in a timely manner. Hong Kong style dishes, average to above average for prices. Parking in center is not great so be prepared to walk a bit, during peak hours you might need to park in garage. Food was great , the only disappointment would maybe be the portion sizes, should consider a bit more for what is charged

Wanted to try their Peking duck, which was not bad. However, the waiter got my order last even though my table arrived first out of 4 different tables. Definitely ruined my experience here, what a shame.

Peking duck is really awesome and delicious and quality and price are great. I added duck bone soup with extra $5 not bad.

Wonton soup is good but seems different than the Hong Kong. Wonton soup I think.

Mushroom with bok choy and sea cucumber dish is okay. Love mushrooms and bok choy though but sea cucumber seems not my favorite, it looks like sea cucumber version from Canada sold in Costco. Too tough, not like traditional good sea cucumber.

Overall this restaurant offers quality food, and excellent service. Staff are attentive
Highly recommended this restaurant and their Peking duck is fabulous
