It’s huge!! Plenty of seating. Wonderful food, fresh hot pizza, soups, spaghetti and a salad bar that is delicious. Ashley was the sweetest and attentive person. She is a star example of good staff. 10/10 will recommend to everyone!!!

We stopped here after an 8 hr drive, near closing time. The staff were very kind and let us take our time eating. They did not put the food away before asking if we were finished. Great employees and great buffet style pizza with a unique crispy crust. Lots of variety. Glad we stopped by!

VI pizza is my favorite pizza and always has been. Been going there since the late 60’s and followed them to each address they moved to. I love the new location they are at now. It’s so open and airy and with all the windows, you have scenery even if you’re dining alone. Price is very reasonable esp for all the variety of food that you can choose from on the bars. And you always need to check their weekly special days. Senior Citizens gets a discount on Tuesdays and that is only one of their special days. Just give them a try!❤️

We live in Granite Falls, North Carolina, and we will definitely be driving back to Morganton. This is how much we were impressed by this particular restaurant. It was very clean. The food was fantastic !! They made sure to have a variety of pizzas and desserts, and their salad bar was well stocked!!

The energy at the old location was 10x better, it was small, cozy, and that vintagey feel , just felt different. It was the perfect environment to take my family to. This new place feels like any other modern restaurant. The lady picking up the dishes for some reason was cleaning up everybody else’s table except ours. The entire hour we were there she cleaned up all the tables but not one single time did she stop by our table. The overall experience was very disappointing.

I finally made it out to the new Village Inn location off Exit 105, right next to the Cracker Barrel, and it is a massive improvement over the old building on Burkemont. The first thing you notice is how much more spacious and bright the new interior feels; the open floor plan really makes a difference compared to the darker, dated vibe of the previous spot.
The food is exactly what you expect if you’ve been a fan for years, but everything seems fresher. The salad bar is still the star of the show—it’s hefty, super clean, and stocked with over 40 items, which is honestly the main reason I go. The pizza buffet was keeping up well with the crowd, and the staff was super friendly about it; they even offered to make a custom pizza request for me to put on the bar, which I really appreciated.
The pizza crust is that classic thin, cracker-style crunch that they are known for. I made sure to save room for the dessert pizzas—the chocolate chip and cherry ones were hot and fresh. It was pretty packed when I went, which is a good sign, but the line moved fast. Definitely worth the trip to the new location!

Love their pizza & I also love the new building. I do wish the did not use frozen eggs on salad bar. They taste like rubber but otherwise good place to eat.

The salad bar was great. The pizza from the bar was awful. The dough was so thin and so over cooked that it was like eating pizza on a tough cracker. All the pìzzas were the same way. Would not recommend. Never had a crunchy, tough pizza like this before.

Can’t beat the price for an all you can eat pizza buffet and salad bar! Everything is always hot and fresh on the pizza buffet and the salad bar is always fresh. If you don’t see a pizza you like, they will make one for you. Great food and great employees!
