They also make a good croissant. However, this place seems like it is closed more than it is open. Would be cool if it was open later. A few times now I have stopped by this place when they are supposed to be open for 10-15 more minutes and they tell me they’re closed. Not in a nice tone either. Or the door is already locked. The door doesn’t have their closing hours either. I think this is how they get away with closing whenever they want. Every time I have been here in the afternoon the girl at the register just seems discourteous, like shed rather be doing something else.
Their food is good, their coffee is excellent, but their attitude sucks.
That’s cool. I’ll be sure to get my coffee elsewhere before returning to town.

Tried Honeycutt Coffee Cafe for the first time and loved the cozy early morning vibe. The breakfast burrito was packed with eggs, meats, and hash browns, and it tasted amazing with all the extras. Between the friendly service, local charm, and nice atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Needed solid WiFi and found it here. At least 100-150mbps download and 40-50mbps upload during my 8 hours there, no network drops.
Also the service and food were noteworthy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Turkey pesto sandwich and rosemary fries are worthy of the hype – both were delicious. The ciabatta for the breakfast sandwich was also great.
I would happily return here in the future. Thanks for sharing the space so I could work from “home”.

Just moved here and decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews and the rating…. Unfortunately the service is terrible. The young girl working the register didn’t greet me until I said hello to her, the older woman stocking the bar behind the counter did greet either but you can clearly hear the front door open. Now let’s talk about the smell of sewage as you approach the counter, faint but still noticeable. The items I ordered (before smelling the sewage) weren’t even available so yeah what an experience…

I enjoyed the food and the drinks at Honeycutt Cafe but at the end of our visit we did not know where to leave the plate that was served to us. We approached the main counter to ask and was greeted with a nasty look by the employee working at the time not only a nasty look but an uncomfortable experience none the less. This was my first and last time.

I came to Honeycutt coffee 2 weeks ago, the service was awful and the coffee was too, it was a Sunday the place was pretty dead so I said well maybe it was a bad day.
I gave it another try today, and the service was worse & the coffee was mediocre at best and my danish was stale.
The cafe would be a nice place to hang out but the service alone is so bad I’ll never be back. And it’s not a one off, I posted on my Instagram story and I got SEVERAL replies from friends who had the SAME experience

Bunny hop drink
Toffee cold brew with cream and toasted marshmallow cold foam with sprinkles.
The marshmallow cream and the cold brew toffeenut pair extremely well with each other so it’s not too bitter or not too sweet.
Iced chai tea latte
I have tried chai tea lattes at any place that I can get it. This place has the best flavor of chai yet. It’s very smooth and sweet enough without it being overwhelming.
Cucumber melon
it is a fantastic refresher it tastes like it has a hint of mint to help balance out the flavors of the cucumber and melon this is a fantastic drink on a hot day.
Orange ginger
I absolutely love this drink if I could I would drink it every day, it’s a great morning starter or to drink it in the evening with your food.
Breakfast burrito
This is great, the burrito is large in size. I would recommend getting everything listed under it along with the guacamole, it all goes together and is made very well the veggies are cooked but still crisp and tender, the eggs are nice fluffy.
The sausage you can taste fennel and it’s on the sweet side so it balances all of the salt from
the hash browns and bacon. The hashbrowns and bacon are crispy and didn’t turn to mush or softened too much. Everything was cut perfectly for the burrito.
Egg bites cheese and bacon
They come in twos, they are very fluffy and flavorful I didn’t need to add anything to it. They weren’t dry at all and cooked perfectly. Great for a small fast breakfast or for those who didn’t eat as much in the mornings
Croissant, ham, and cheese sandwich
While a basic sandwich it’s still very good.
The croissant itself is the highlight of the dish. It’s very flakey on the outside and soft on the inside the best part is that it tastes like it was made that day which is perfect.
The staff are very kind and professional, and did a fantastic job I also got everything in a timely manner which was great as I didn’t have to wait very long or at all for the drinks or the food 10/10
I will be coming back there again. As a bonus, it also has a wine bar for later at night
they also have a large variety of crystals to choose from along with bracelets and necklaces all with good price.

Food came out pretty quick, even when they warned me it might take a little longer since they were busy. Plenty of friendly people to chat with while waiting. Omelette was good, and the sandwiches hit the spot.

Cute little shop for Maricopa! The only one in town like this so it can get busy. The service is efficient and every time we have cam in they have been nice! They serve up lots of food options and coffee. Previously we have gotten to go egg sandwich and lattes and they were solid pre flight fuel! I would say this place is focused on to go style affair.
It seems to me like this place is half coffee half food here with a slight emphasis on the food. I say this because they don’t have proper cups for espresso drinks. They use to go cups and only have typical coffee mugs for drip coffee.
Coffee:
More acidic, slightly burnt (not in a bad way) somewhat Starbucks ish which adds up as many of the drinks are tailored for add-in’s rather than plain. (Many people were ordering lots of fun drinks)
Food:
Solid sandwiches and what others were ordering was making me want to order more.
Overall:
I would come back when I’m running in/out of town but not to just get coffee. They serve what a lot of what people want solid food and coffee drinks with fun flavors and add-ins. They are not as coffee forward as we would hope and the coffee was just ok.
