This family owned and operated restaurant has been a community staple in Campbellsville, Kentucky since opening day in 1970. Once a restaurant chain of more than 200 locations, many thought the Druther’s name was extinct! Whether you’re a first timer or a regular, you are sure to feel right at home the minute you step through our doors. I’d Ruther go to Druther’s Restaurant!

All of the servers, and people who attended to us at the front register at every visit were very polite and helpful. They all work together as a team, so we have been waited on by at least six different people, and we only visited twice!
We have tried the chili with noodles, and without noodles, the fried cornbread, the biscuits and gravy, the chili dogs, the Royal burger, the fries, onion rings, grilled chicken sandwich, orange milkshake, butter pecan milkshake, ski, turkey sausage patties, fried pickles, fried squash/ zucchini, and a regular hamburger! We were recommended the ChuckWagon by another Patron who offered to buy it for me if I did not like it! Even the customers give great customer service LOL
I have not tried the ChuckWagon yet, but plan to on our next visit! I will gladly pay for it myself, but I still appreciate the man who offered the suggestion to us. I will highly recommend this place to anyone! My mother used to come here when she was little. My grandmother had six children, one of them was my mom, when they were all little the kids used to say “let’s go to Queenie B’s, let’s go to Queenie B’s” (as it was formerly called Burger Queen, with a mascot named Queenie Bee ). Steve the owner, remember it’s going there when he was younger as well! This restaurant is steeped in history, and hopefully it will stay around for 100 years or better! The name changed sometime in the 80s, but a lot of things remain true to my mother’s memories of one of her favorite childhood spots! Five stars and 2 Thumbs way up!
We had 4 meals with appetizers and milkshakes, and it cost us around $35! Best deal in town!
It was all just as I remembered, EXCEPT, even better! I love nostalgia and this trip brought back so many precious high school memories from Druthers in Munfordville.
I can’t wait to visit Druthers of Campbellsville again and bring the rest of the family with me! I hope this place sticks around for many more years to come. (Mr. McCarty, thank you for your fine hospitality displayed to this excited Generation X mama and her oldest son, who showed up at 4:30, 30 minutes before closing time ♀️ )
It was worth the trip!
It would have been better if I would’ve also gotten something salty to go with the food, fries ! I like my salt, especially during summer months!
I didn’t get dessert as it would have been almost too much for me.
The service was top-level. We had our own ketchup bottle! We ordered at the counter, got our drinks and then they brought the food out to us!
The atmosphere was loud! It was right after lunch, and it looked like a lot of church-goers were there and everybody was talking! So not the best place to have a quiet discussion on Sunday at lunch time!
All in all, I would rate the place 5 , the noise wasn’t their problem, and while it would’ve been nice to have more room with so many people… the reason we chose Druther’s was because we saw it was lower priced. If they would expand it would increase their prices which was the whole reason we picked that place to try out! I’ll definitely be back!
