I went today on April 24 2025 We order the specials in the menu enchiladas poblanas , tampiquena fideo soup , the en hiladas were bad not good at all they were stale tortilla was hard like they Probably done them during the day and just left them there in the oven we called the manager and he said that no he couldn’t change them because to him supposedly as soon as they come out, we have to eat them. If not, the air conditioner will make them hard. The service was terrible. He said no he could not give us other ones so we just left. I couldn’t believe he did that. We paid the tab. What it was. It was $40 and we left we didn’t eat the rest of the food. They should know that they’re food is bad we had gone there before and this never happened. That’s why we got mad and left. I really did not recommend you to go buy their food because of the way the manager treated us we didn’t get his name, but he was tall man young.

The food has always been very good here. If anything the one thing that may need a bit of work is the service, as that can make or break a great lunch experience.
First strike was the server who seemed to be in a bit of a bad mood.
You can instantly feel bad vibes from anyone.
Second strike, drink orders were wrong, the guacamole was missing on my dish.
And don’t try to request something different on your dish as they will throw a fit.
If anything I’d suggest hiring a happier wait staff…
By the way, I still left a tip as I know they dont get paid much, but please dont let your bad attitude ruin my lunch.

Everyone Deserves Happiness
Danny’s has always been the go-to restaurant for my family during special occasions. It is not a fancy restaurant but it isn’t your usual diner. Danny’s is a great restaurant where the whole family can eat.
Danny’s offers a plethora of food choices from American and Mexican cuisine. There should be something for everyone to enjoy. Danny’s even offers a kid’s menu and kids can get a coloring book for free. Nothing big but enough to entertain them.
The decor is amazing with stalls in the corner and tables in the center. It has a very home-like feel. It’s such a nice environment.
The service is also something that should be praised. Wait staff is quick, efficient and friendly. The wait for your food doesn’t seem so eternal when appetizers are offered and drinks come out almost immediately.
Personally, I enjoy the chicken breast from here the most and replace my order of mashed potatoes to French fries in my dinner. The combination is surprisingly good.
Danny’s is a really great restaurant. Show up with the entire family and enjoy. It’s worth it.

Food’s delicious buuuuut, I’ve ordered breakfast 3 times and out of those 3 times, my order has been wrong twice. Small stuff but it’s not like I place a gigantic order – 2 dishes/items at most.
Will still continue to order and will more than likely ask the staff to start repeating my order back to me.
2 tacos with 3 extra bacon strips (2 in one and 1 in the other) for $12.
Staff is nice.
The environment is clean.
Edit: I’ve ordered several more times since my last review and there hasn’t been any issues with my order (still placing the same order).
Calm space.

We ordered the $3.99 enchiladas, she ordered cheese enchiladas, I ordered suizas, she didn’t like the cheese enchiladas, they tasted weird, the suizas were really good. We liked those. Service was excellent. 3 based on food flavor and coke was kind of flat

disappointment. The tortillas are always tough, the chicken is dry, and it’s frustrating because if you dine in, everything comes out perfect. It’s like takeout customers don’t matter to them.
Honestly, it feels like they just don’t care—just sloppy, sad enchiladas that taste like they were thrown together without a second thought. I even saw other reviews saying they just stick them in the oven and that’s it—however they come out, that’s what you get. That’s not okay.
If they don’t want to put care into takeout orders, maybe they shouldn’t offer it. No one wants to waste their money on food that feels like an afterthought. People work hard for their money—and we deserve better.
