I’ve been going to flying pie every time I come to Portland for the last 15 years. I used to go to the Lake Oswego one, but it has permanently shut down.
The food here is just as great as it has always been! It’s my favorite pizza in the whole world! I always get vegetarian, add pepperoni, and when they ask for seasonings and garlic, say yes!
There is no parking at this location! There is street parking only, which is really hard to find. I won’t ever be going back to this location again because of it.
The dining area is really dark. They need to double the amount of lights they have in there.
The people working there are pretty friendly. They knew I had a to-go order, but they didn’t call my pizza when it was ready. After waiting for 10 minutes (I arrived 30 minutes after ordering like they said) I finally went up to the window to ask what was going on, and they pulled my pizza out of the waiting area. So that was a little annoying. I’m sure it was just an off day for them. They were very busy.

My first time here in all my years living in Clackamas. We needed some lunch while we were waiting for my breaks to get fixed. I loved looking at the pictures on the walls and even saw some faces I recognized! It’s hard to tell the 90’s from the early 2000’s I realized . The atmosphere was so fun and quirky! The food was absolutely delicious and very filling, we got the stromboli lunch special! The salad was GIANT and one could have fed 4 people with tons of topping/dressing options, and the pizza “slice” was literally 1/2 a pizza. The sausage bits were the size of golf balls and the pizza toppings were so fresh and delicious! The guys working were very helpful, I think they knew we had never been in before. Right as we sat down to eat we got the call that the car was ready so we asked for to-go containers and was directed to a table with all kinds of storage options, one being a cardboard piece and all the tinfoil you needed! It was a pleasant stop and I didn’t even feel bad about walking down 82nd eating my bread stick and living my life to the fullest!

We ordered via Grubhub and the only postive I can say is that they had Strawberry Fanta. The 8 inches were actually 6 inches and the crust and quality was gross. The cheese sticks also tasted bad. Rubbery crust. My son who loves most everything said it tasted bad. The ranch was supposed to be 8oz for $2.75 and they gave me a tiny 1oz ramekin. And the food all cost almost $50! I want my money back that’s for sure. So many other better pizza places for a better price too. Don’t eat here

One of my favorite pizza spots. The smell of the pizza is amazing, and take me back to with I was a kid and came here post little league games. The pizzas are big and the toppings are big to. I always get combo 1 supreme with original dough. Besides the large toppings, the dough is unique to flying pie. Which is probably why I love it.

Don’t let the 3 star Atmosphere rating throw you off any! It’s an old joint and a bit run down, but always clean. It had that old 1970s vibe, man! That being said, some of the greatest pizza in Portland and I’m a native! Again, that old-school pizza taste and you get what you pay for. I already STRONGLY recommend the Guido sandwich, it’s a take on French dip! Enjoy!

The Greatest Pizza The World Has Ever Known. The Best That Has Ever Been or Ever Will Be. My family has been coming here since I was 6 years old (38 years and counting!) – our picture from 1995 is on the wall and “our” booth is still a fixture.
This place has it all – pizza that is laden with delicious toppings to where just one slice is a meal in and of itself, a charming, neighborhood pizza place atmosphere with just enough Portland quirkiness on the walls (and ceilings) to make it Portland but not overpower you, local beers on tap, pinball and arcade games in the back… I cannot wax poetic enough about my favorite pizzeria on earth. This is the gold standard. All other pizza falls short, no matter how hard they try.
This will be my go-to pizza spot until they put the last nail in my coffin.

The staff were great. The pizza was amazing! I’ve never seen so many toppings on a pie! And yet, the crust under all that wasn’t soggy, but crispy and crunchy. I don’t know how they do it. My only down was the their salads. Packaged in plastic (convenient for them and delivery) but a bunch of wilting and sog that I didn’t want to eat. I will be back or ordering online in the future.
