Walked past 2 of their London locations but I’ve never been able to get in, always super busy. I was in Brighton today, and was so happy to see there was one here. We only waited 5 mins for a table. The burger was AMAZING! Fresh, thick and delicious. The fries were so good too, and they have this purple coleslaw that is to die for.

This cozy spot tucked away in the Lanes is nothing short of a shining gem, the food was spectacular, seasoned to perfection with portion sizes to give you a run for your money. I feel it is rare these days to find a spot that can truly deliver in regard to both quality of ingredients and taste. That said, it was the service that pushed me to write this review and share my experience of the wonders that honest burgers has to offer. Blake, Will and Bianca were attentive and informative, providing a spectacular dining experience. Thank you, I will be back.

Lovely service but disappointing food.
We ordered two lunch sets with classic beef burgers and lemonades. The burgers were very thin, thin like McDonald’s ones, which we understood given the lunch deal price. Unfortunately, the patties were burnt and bitter, not nicely charred, but hard and dry. The chips were soggy and quite sad.
Honestly, it was one of the worst burger meals we’ve ever had.

I had a great experience at Honest Burger. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was nice. I tried the smash burger and it was super delicious, my friend had the BBQ chicken burger and loved it as well. We also ordered buffalo wings and they were amazing, especially the buffalo sauce. Definitely a place worth trying and I highly recommend it

good if you and your partner are craving a big meal! got the onion rings and of course our burgers and fries not sure if it’s common but it was very busy! we got the last table available and we were really close to the table text to us. make sure to book before you go if you want a spot.

One of the best burger we ever eaten. We ate it in the train and it was still hot. The burger is made with fresh meat and you can feel it. Also the fries were delicious. Crispy and yummy. An honor mention to the waiters. They were really kindness and available. Trust me, try it because it’s worth it!

I come to Honest Burgers in Brighton semi-regularly and it never disappoints! Thought I would finally write a review following the exceptional service we had today.
Our table was looked after by Mia, who was fun, personable and really responsive to our needs.
The food here is consistently excellent, with delicious burgers and really generous portions. Honest is one of the few burger restaurants that understands people usually want chips with their burger and doesn’t make you order them as an expensive side dish! The smash burger is a newer addition to the menu and completely brilliant – it’s taken over from my usual order of the ‘Tribute’ (which is also delicious!)
There is an extensive drinks menu offering both alcohol and soft drinks – I really recommend the homemade mint lemonade. It’s so refreshing and great value for money!!
Unfortunately today there was a miscommunication between the order and the kitchen and my partner received an incorrect item. This is the first time I have ever had an issue at Honest Burger. Mia was quick to investigate the problem and promptly resolved it – all with a smile and a friendly attitude. Thanks Mia!! We really enjoyed our lunch here and would not hesitate to come back

Absolutely delicious. Burgers have a great flavor. We went for the lunch special and ordered the mint lemonade and Cole slaw. We love the ambience and service.

Honest burgers stood for its name. I had a fantastic burger, very affordable, and was done to perfection. One of the better places in Brighton that make burgers, not mentioning the fries that were top tier. It was a good portion of food for how much I had spent (£12 + service charge) which was an excellent deal especially when comparing to other places in Brighton, like the bigger chains.
The service was good, I wouldn’t say they did much, there wasn’t a refill on the water, though we didn’t ask for one, we were sat right in front of the desk of where all the employees would stand while they wait, so I would’ve assumed they would take an initiative.
The atmosphere was alright, however if there is no space then it’s not an amazing experience solely on them making you wait at the door or even outside, and not even promising you a seat. They make sure you know there are no reservations so, if you do end up walking away to do some quick shopping then you lose out. Furthermore, it’s a tight squeeze, not many seats at all and when there are seats, there’s not much wiggle room, however that does mean you get a warm and homely feel.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, and I’ll be revisiting this place in the future for sure. Especially if I’m guaranteed the same food.
