Grown up eating from here and never got to make a review; now it is time. Friendly staff who always accommodated my non-Spanish speaking family. The BEST tasting dishes of all varieties. Gorgeous plating and HUGE serving sides, perfect to take home and eat for the next few days. And cheap prices for what is being served to us!
I will always eat here when I’m home and am scared of trying new places due to how great the food is at San Juanito’s.

Amazing. I love a soft burrito with plenty of steak. That’s what they gave. Horchata was so good. Also gave extra rice veggies and tortillas

It was my first time there, I was not pleased the restaurant was dirty, messy, and just out of order. The food was ok, however I notice how dirty the bottles of the hot sauce were and just made me think, about the kitchen. The waitress have no idea what’s going on. About 6 waiters come to my table to take my order while I was looking at it. They never brought us water. Not coming back.

Got the ranchera super torta that was exactly as described a SUPER torta. It was huge I ate half of it and the rest the next day. You can share it. The ranchera has a little bit of everything asada, Al pastor and chorizo. The service was good. All the staff was super friendly and quick to take our order. We needed more time but they still checked on us multiple times. When we were finally ready Janet answered all our questions. The red salsa was really good if you like spicy. Green didn’t really have much flavor or heat but it was okay. The pico de gallo or salsa not sure was good too. We got 2 rounds of chips. The agua de jamaica was not that sweet which was perfect. They asked us if we wanted ice or not which not a lot of places ask they just assume. Overall, our experience was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was cute – they have it decorated nice and the front window is open. They also have outside seats. They seemed really busy. Parking is street parking pay to park. Definitely give it a try. We went because passing by it smelled good.

Beautiful place dressed for Christmas, love that they get festive. Food is always delish! I think their best taco is the Al Pastor

Place takes up to an hour to get the food ready I meet a guy too that was getting angry at the time I arrived I didn’t know why he was angry but one hour later I realized why also try asking them they ignore you. Also what’s up with the plastic melting on my burrito I feel that this is unhealthy might need to contact the city health department about this.

So I order a Chorizo Gordita and they burn the chorizo. And it was not cheap. Normally they are good. But I guess it depends who is working and if they care. SMH.

Food is good I think is just the thing that I had was too much pork and cheese for me which is totally my fault, it’s literally called choriqueso, I would recommend to share it as an apt. The service could be better. The portions were huge btw and it was very affordable. I’ll definitely revisit to try other stuff too.

This was my first time trying this place and overall it’s quite good. My only criticisms are based on personal preferences. I got the carne asada burrito and it was a good portion of food, but it was a bit “flat” instead of the packed to bursting style I’m used to. As you can see from the photos, there is plenty of meat but the other ingredients barely make themselves known. The red sauce has heat that builds over time, so if you are sensitive to spice it’s best to use it sparingly. The yellow/green sauce adds some flavor, but I can’t put my finger on what that flavor is supposed to be. All-in-all it was worth trying, but it’ll be a while before I go here again. On another note, I know someone that absolutely loves their veggie burritos and gets them quite often (she also suggests mixing the sauces to bring the heat of the red under control).
