I ordered orecchiette pasta but received shells, and it went downhill from there. The server was adamant that I received the correct type of pasta (which she repeatedly mispronounced) until I showed her a photo of orecchiette on my iPhone and asked her to show it to chef Armando in the kitchen. Only then did she admit the mistake. I asked her whether they planned to order the correct product or change the menu, and her reply was at best ambiguous. “This is what we can get from Sysco.” Our table of 5 intelligent adults celebrating a birthday was a collective “HUH?!”. And despite our being the only customers in the place, the chef never came out to apologize, nor was any adjustment to our bill offered. Tell your friends; I’m certainly telling mine!
