Southern Ale House was an awesome experience. The food was really good, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the atmosphere feel welcoming. Even the customers were friendly, which made the whole place feel comfortable and enjoyable. This is a great spot to hang out, grab a meal, meet up with friends, or even go on a date. Overall, it’s a solid place with great vibes, and I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere was great but the food wasn’t all that. I had the chicken fingers which were over cooked, the broccoli was good abs the hash brown casserole was dry. The bread pudding for the week wasn’t good either. I will be back to try again.

Went today at 4:00 p.m. They were closing at 5:00 for the day. We had a party of 6, and had a sweet and courteous server. Our pork skins appetizer was hot and crackling and delicious! The food came out quickly. It was tasty and presented well. My Meme Biscuit sandwich was room temperature and the chicken tenders were barely warm. I was disappointed by this because this was the first time I have had an issue here. My meal was good but the temperature and the dark, luke-warm chicken tender made me think that it was not fresh at all. I was just disappointed with the freshness and food temperature. Everything else was great.

Awesome restaurant. Smaller menu, but has something for most palates. Two of us ordered burgers. One traditional, one pickle burger. Both were really good. The twice baked potato was delicious. The ranch slaw was okay. Did not have much flavor. We also ordered a chicken Ceasar salad with a side of sweet potato tots. Salad was delicious. The tots were good.
The showstopper were the desserts. We ordered one special, Reese’s bread pudding, one strawberry shortcake biscuit, and one bourbon chocolate chip bread pudding. You better LOVE bourbon if you order that dessert. For me, one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely phenomenal. The other two were fabulous as well. I would literally come only for dessert.

Our server was very nice. We chose to sit outside because it was crowded and loud inside. Took forever to get our drinks. The pimento cheese dip and homemade chips were excellent!
We also ordered the pepper jam burger. It was good, but we were not huge fans of the sweetness, more sweet than expected. I would order a regular burger next time. We got a side of pimento Mac and cheese and it was great! Great prices!
All in all it wasn’t very bad.

We had a wonderful time here! The food was as delicious as advertised. The waitresses and waiters were VERY nice and helpful, and considerate of the fact that we had two small children 2 and under with us. Despite being a restaurant that seems like it would be geared more towards adults, it is actually very child friendly. They have kids menus and crayon packs, they have a changing table in the handicap stall of the women’s bathroom (none in the men’s room sorry), and they have high chairs and booster seats. It was very convenient and made our experience much more pleasant. Also, we couldn’t get over how wonderful the food was. I ordered the fish tacos, and I just KNEW that fish was fresh caught fish. It’s almost like someone had brought it in from out back. Very good. My husband had their burger, said the quality of the burger was superb. Also liked their drink offerings and dessert. We tried the chocolate chip bourbon infused bread pudding, and it was out of this world! Southern Ale House is awesome. We will definitely be coming back again.

There was a live band, which is really cool. Even though the place was busy I was by myself so I was seated immediately, which was nice. The atmosphere of the place is really cool. I can see why it’s super busy just about every night. I went to this place because it was referred to me twice in the same day When asking around on where I should eat tonight. Both people said get the steak. I got the steak and to be honest though it was cooked to order, it was tough. And the hash brown casserole that came with it was undercooked. The place isn’t super expensive but for the price I kind of expected better. The steak had a lot of fat and tendon meat. The actual meat of the steak was tough to chew.
