The food is good, the sake are good too, especially the hot one. The service is special but OK. Good Japense food.

Stellar quality sushi for such a location! All sorts of fish taste very delicious, and you see that some ingredients like avocado and apple start to darken if you don’t eat them fast enough, so you know they’re fresh. AMAZING prices at lunch time! My only complaint is the mango is surprisingly no good, so I say stay away from Tango Mango and Yellow Dragon rolls.

The atmosphere is fine, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Surprising as it might sound, the Pad Thai had way too much sugar in it, as did the dipping sauce for the agi tofu. My teeth are still hurting!
Prices are on the high side, not warranted by the quality of the food.

Mediocre sushi at best. Tastes like week old tuna from a grocery store. Ordered the rice on the outside of my tuna rolls. Did not come out that way. Server was nice, but didn’t like it when I said something about the horrible martini she made. Then when I asked about it, she offered to make a new one. Asked her to go very, very light on the vermouth. She still poured at least half a shot. Needless to say, the second martini was barely better than the first, and I didn’t come close to finishing it. Anybody that says this is the best sushi in town has never actually had quality sushi.

The sushi was delicious, but I definitely got food poisoning from it. Other than the sushi, a salad and a cup of ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s were the only things I ate all day. The next morning, I had stomach cramps and diarrhea. I later that day experienced nausea, fatigue and chills. The diarrhea continues. Sorry, but it had to be the sushi, so be careful about ordering it there. The other food at the restaurant looked pretty good so don’t hesitate to go there. Just don’t order the sushi.

Love this place. Love the environment. I hope there is always a sushi spot on North Street. Very convenient. They definitely do not skimp of the fish. Big rolls and I love it! Keep up the good work Sen Sushi. Sake JJ

The atmosphere is relaxed, and the place is beautiful. The sushi was delicious, and beautifully presented. My favorite is the Volcano Roll..but all was so good. Excellent service, highly recommend!

Great rolls and chill atmosphere. Service is excellent and friendly. Seems they’re under different management and improved menu since September 2016. Best sushi around!

Had had a bad experience in January 2019 and thought I would give them another chance. I have tried to order food several times over the past month and nobody answers the phone. Understandably this is the middle of the Covid crisis but this is a continuing issue with this restaurant. They close for lunch supposedly between 3 and 4:00 p.m. But I found that varies widely. The sushi is just OK which means it’s unacceptable. I’ve lived in Japan and spent 12 years in California so I’m accustomed to fresh well prepared sushi. This is not that. p Even making allowances for the fact that I’m in Pittsfield Massachusetts it just isn’t worth ordering. Don’t know why I had a moment of weakness. But I’m glad it passed!
