Enjoyed a special Valentine’s Day three-course meal. Everything was delicious, and our server Amanda J facilitated an absolutely lovely experience. Steak Tartare and Pan-Seared Scallops were excellent. Wish there were more dessert options… but I strongly recommend the Titanic cocktail! It was unique and fun.

Went for restaurant week for lunch. Was not disappointed. Staff friendly and helpful. Even tried the chestnut soup which was interesting and flavorful. We had the salmon and schnitzel. The blood orange dessert hit the spot. Will go there again for sure.

What a perfect Sunday brunch this past weekend! We had been meaning to visit the original location, and this was such a beautiful day for it. The seating on the 2nd floor was so bright and beautiful. Loved the setting. And appreciated wait staff inviting us to view the full venue. Great ideas for private events. Our server, Amanda J., was so welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. She really made the visit extra special. We had shrimp and grits (never had with pea flower!), Trummers breakfast, shrimp cocktail (highly recommend!), truffle fries, and wonderful cocktails: pineapple mimosa and espresso martini. The bacon was over cooked, a bit burnt, but Amanda made sure a fresh batch replaced the bacon. Loved our meal, but also our eyes couldn’t help notice all the delicious dishes passing by (wow, those waffles). Hence, the shrimp cocktail we added on. We’ll be back!

We went here for dinner. I had the scallops, husband ordered the beef Wellington, and our friends had the prime beef and the rack of lamb. Everyone liked their food. The cornbread and brussels sprouts were very good as well

That said, the service could be better. The server assigned to us made us feel rushed and there were multiple instances where questions from my friends were met with responses that were dismissive rather than helpful. Her responses were more like a “you deal with it” instead of good service and this stood out in an otherwise nice dining experience.

We liked the food and the atmosphere but the service from that particular server took a bit away from the overall experience

The staff and atmosphere were phenomenal, and I had one of the best salads with great potatoes.

My bone marrow arrived a little late because I was told the first serving was burnt; the replacement was alright.

My ribeye was undercooked. I never sent back a plate before and I felt so bad, but they cooked it again and it was alright.

There was one dish I believed to be from the pasta section, but it turned out not to include pasta. I may have been mistaken, and that’s on me, but the dish itself wasn’t very good. The waiter offered pasta, which helped.

Maybe they had a bad night but that was not worth the price at all.

The waiter definitely carried that night; I appreciate it.

Nice atmosphere, average food. Really good Bloody Mary!

I like Trummer’s. It’s a beautiful restaurant with nice tall ceilings and lots of natural light. The food on the other hand is a mostly subpar. Inconsistencies with what is listed on the menu and what you receive.

Avocado Toast: Average. Also it was served with salmon instead of the white fish that was listed on the menu.

Smash Burger: Fine, nothing special. Served with no veggies inside, literally just meat cheese and some caramelized onions. Where’s the crunchy lettuce and fresh tomato?

Wienerschnitzel from Pork: Way too salty. The gravy had an odd smoky taste. The roisserie potatoes were good.

Trummer’s Breakfast: Not worth $22 for what you get. Over salted. Sausage is listed on the menu but received no sausage. Restaurant does not have egg whites.

*Note to Owners* Bring back the Jerusalem artichoke soup it was the best thing on the menu.

I had the pleasure of dining there. It is an exceptional establishment with excellent cuisine. The service was impeccable, and the bartender crafted remarkable beverages. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance; it is both artistic and aesthetically pleasing.
Outstanding atmosphere and delectable food.

Came here for a birthday dinner and the food was great. Would skip the crab hush puppies – they’re mid. Eel on rice was great. For my main I had the cioppino, which was great with fresh seafood. The dining area was really cool, just kind of loud. They need to find a better way to sound proof their back room with all of the windows because conversations travel. Our server was awesome. Very personable and had great recommendations.

The meal was fantastic – kudos to the chef. Absolutely delicious. The hostess was terrific and friendly. Our service was really below average for such a well-known restaurant and for the price of the meals. I had to keep getting up to ask for things, like, “Hello, can I get some more iced tea?” We sat for maybe 10 mins after finishing our dinner before I got up and asked for a different server to stop by. I had to keep flagging other servers to ask for things, like, “Hey, can I see a desert menu?” We felt ignored and almost left. I’m sure this was an isolated incident.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating birthdays and catching up. With two grands under the age of 4, you never know. The Trummers staff were so helpful and the location we were seated in allowed for some wiggle room for the kids. The food was delicious. Most of the table ordered the prime rib. It was tender and perfectly cooked. The duck fat potatoes are awesome. The duck also got strong reviews. The clam chowder in the appetizer menu was excellent and approved by our 2 year old granddaughter. All in all a great choice and we’ll be back.
