And the cashier says that all the pieces come like
That so they cannot do anything. Are you serious? Not coming back! Waste of time
And money! They do not make it right, they jusy want your money! BUY HERE IF YOU WANT DRY AND OVERCOOKED CHICKEN! Also those were cold and dry!
My only disappointment is that the sweet tea was not at all sweet to the standard of Popeye’s Southern-style/Louisiana-style sweet tea. So that was my only regrettable purchase (as someone from the south, who Knows adequately sweetened sweet tea, hehe). But that may, perhaps, be done deliberately, so as to suit the different palette and sweet tea norms of the Colorado patrons.
If there were a Michelin star for fast food, this Popeyes on Federal would have it in blazing neon letters. Let’s be clear—without Ubaldo and Gabby, this place would be a barren parking lot echoing with the ghosts of missed drive-thru orders. They are the lifeblood, the soul, the magic behind every perfectly crispy chicken tender and buttery biscuit that leaves this kitchen.
Ubaldo is a legend in the art of hospitality. He remembers faces, makes real conversation, and somehow keeps his calm even when the line is wrapped around the block. Gabby is pure sunshine in human form, moving with grace and precision like she’s conducting a symphony of flavor and customer care. Together they transform a simple fried chicken run into a full-blown experience—one that restores your faith in fast food and maybe even humanity.
They don’t just take your order—they take care of you. They make sure every need is met with genuine kindness, every sauce request honored like a royal decree, and every meal delivered with pride. You can taste their effort in every bite.
I’m convinced that without Ubaldo and Gabby this Popeyes would crumble like a biscuit without honey. They are the heart of this place, and because of them, I’ll keep coming back again and again. If there’s a Hall of Fame for customer service, they both deserve statues—right next to the drive-thru window.
This location , no, ALL Denver Popeyes locations have given Popeyes a bad name at this point. None of the employees speak English, the service is terrible and the chicken is never fully cooked through.
Now looking at the other comments, these employees have no consideration of the company in its entirety.
