I really enjoyed the beer selection at Bierliebe & Friends. You can tell there’s real passion behind the menu. There’s a great mix of local and international options, and I appreciated how the staff were happy to suggest something based on what I like. It made the experience feel personal and relaxed.
Food
We tried their burgers and thought it was well prepared and flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh, and it paired nicely with the beer I ordered. The beef has a slightly different character compared to what I’m used to in the U.S. – a bit leaner and milder.

The service really stood out to me. The team was friendly, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing. Everything arrived promptly, and I felt genuinely welcomed throughout my visit.

Great beer, food was made to look fancy, tasted good & was reasonably priced, but it’s more of just something to have with the great beer as the actual hot dog itself was good but everything on it sauces and toppings is what made it great. I’d still recommend to friends though. Service was great and informative on what beers we were ordering. Good vibes in here!

Atmosphere was quite nice right next to the start of the lake and the main bridge. The burgers were not special, but they were good, and they also had a good selection of beers. The waitress was kind enough to let me try a few sips to help me choose the beer I wanted.

We loved this place. Small salad was large and very fresh. Burger was excellent. Beers and a glass of Swiss Chardonnay excellent! If you go, call for reservations upstairs at the windows overlooking the river – beautiful!

Delicious food! Great view with Chapel Bridge as your backdrop. You can sit out side like we did or inside. Seating is next to walkway with umbrellas at each table. Great location to people watch while planning your next trip around town! Very nice wait staff. They were warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

This place was really nice to go and eat or drink something.The food was amazing.The people in the store were very kind.The taste in music was the best.Thats all about my review but there is some extra funny story when I visited.There was some drunk romanian guy without passport or id that didnt have money to pay his bill.The people in the service didnt cause a scene or started shouting at him they were very polite and everything.All randomly there were police officers eating on that place at this exact moment.They talked with him and he really offered to wash dishes or smth because he literally had 0 money.The shop people told him that theres no need to do that and let him go(very considerate).But the chinese lady that overheard this whole thing came in the counter and said she would pay his bill since he has no money(China for real number 1#).Amazing experiense very kind and polite people.Would recommend 10/10.
