This place should not be in business any longer. They have always had the absolute worst service…So much so that we decided not to visit this location anymore. We did visit once a few months ago & it seemed that things had gotten a bit better. So today we decided to try it again. We sat for over 5 minutes while the car in front us ordered. When we pulled up to order, there was no greeting so I politely said hello. The woman proceeded to tell me that they weren’t taking orders today because there was a line. Are you kidding me?!?! We left & went to a different Wendy’s across town, who took our order & served us quickly, efficiently, & kindly. And guess what…When we passed back by this particular Wendy’s, they were serving cars in the drive through…Looks like they were taking orders after all!
I have worked in fast food & customer service for many years. I know the proper protocols, and sadly, this isn’t it. If this Wendy’s continues to employ incompetent workers who can’t handle greeting customers, taking orders, & handing food out of a window, they will be closed before they know it. Sadly, our family will no longer be customers of the Collins Road Wendy’s. Do better!

I have only once been inside a Wendy’s was in the Cincinnati 1984 stop to go potty and got back in the car and drove away never ate there. Have sense ate twice in Cedar Rapids at the at Wendy’s they have the best shakes. Outside of Ruckersville South Dakota because in 1994 they still had an ice cream parlor I’m unsure if they still have one.

Ordered 2 chicken strip meals. Chicken strips were perfect. Hot and delicious.
Fries were inedible. Cold and tasted funny. Literally could not eat them. Sodas had no ice, were actually warm, and were completely flat. Only portion of the meals that were edible was the chicken. Very unfortunate.

Placed a mobile order for dine in and went to go inside…all doors were locked. Once let inside, manager/team lead asked staff “why did you let these people in?”. Waited around for food for over 10 minutes before realizing our order had been set out without anyone telling us it was ours. Food was subpar at best. Manager loudly complained about staff that “didn’t speak any english” and was visibly annoyed that he had to unlock doors. Will not be returning to this location.

Food must have been sitting around for a while. Chicken sandwich was half the size they used to be. Chicken tenders were tough and chewy. I ordered ahead and still waited 10 minutes for my food. Ordering online was nearly impossible. Worst fast food ordering system I’ve ever used. It is no wonder the company is struggling.

I convinced my husband to get Wendy’s even though he was against it. I convinced him simply because I was craving Chili Cheese Fries. I ordered his THIRTEEN dollar cheeseburger meal, and was informed they didn’t have any Chili (weird). Got my husband his meal didn’t get what I was after. His fries were soggy and he had a hair on his burger… I feel like this entire situation was a Seinfeld episode. It is a No for me. Play on playa.

My husband and I went through the drive through and both of us got chicken sandwiches (his was spicy). About halfway through my husbands sandwich, it went from seemingly cooked to entirely raw and pink. I immediately called the restaurant and they told us to bring in the chicken. We went back to the restaurant about 90 minutes later (we were at a family members house and couldn’t leave immediately). We took the raw chicken with us so the staff could see. We were worried about them serving raw meat to other customers as well. They did not apologize once, and they said they couldn’t give us a refund because we didn’t bring back the “whole” sandwich. Then they tried to imply that this wasn’t their chicken, and we were lying, even though the staff remembered us coming through the drive through. They even brought out an uncooked spicy chicken sandwich to compare to the one we had, and tried to say they didn’t match. I posted two pictures with this, the first one is the raw chicken we were served. The second picture is the comparison between the frozen uncooked chicken and ours. The frozen chicken still had frost on it, and they said the chicken we had couldn’t be theirs because it was darker. The manager had to have multiple private conversations with corporate on the phone in between talking to my husband. Eventually they refunded us only the money for his sandwich, but not for our entire order. Again, we were only concerned about the safety risk of serving raw meat to customers, but neither staff nor corporate were apologetic or seemed concerned.

I love the food I just wish the service was better. I went there this morning to get breakfast. No, one was there. Asked for a Chocolate frosty fusion and got plain frosty. Mentioned the mistake to the lady that took our order, who we previously commented on being so upbeat and happy to be at work. She said I didnt say it clearly and didnt hear me say that I wanted a frosty ffusion. She kept arguing and then proceeds to fix the order. She tells me to learn to read. When it clearly shows on the picture there is a chocolate swirl which is a fusion. If there is more to the fusion then kindly ask what option I want rather than be disrespectful. Great job on the baked potatoes!!
