Spot with plush banquettes serving classic American fare such as meatloaf, chops & broasted chicken.

The atmosphere reminds me of a mom and pop diner! And as someone who is from the south I was happy to find a place that gave that nostalgic feeling, and I had high hopes as the hostess was very kind and welcoming, but the waitress was so rude I asked to move from a booth to the counter seat. The new waiter wasn’t much improvement as he only stopped by to take the order, give me food, and leave the check. No drink refills til he brought the check and I asked for it. The food looked good and came in large amounts but was dense and flavorless. I will say my poached eggs were cooked perfectly tho.

The avocado toast was on full display when I walked in the front door. AMEN! Just look at the picture. It was too pretty to eat! Everything I wanted and more. Filling, healthy, and tasteful.

This place should be a 5 star. My wife and I come for breakfast mostly, the food and service are top par. (Our decision) we tip the waitress/waiter and also the floater that is constantly making sure you never run out of coffee or any other needs.
Today we can for lunch and man was it the best. We brought our young kids and they loved it.
We love the fresh food all the time, their prices are amazingly better than others, given this economy. Food is always well cooked and again FRESH.
Our favorite place.
We pay for awesome service, great food and clean environment.
I would recommend the OPEN FACE STEAK SANDWICH

My friend suggested Lancers while I was visiting the area and it is a quintessential Burbank diner! Their staff was on point the whole time and theit portions are insane. If you left hungry you didn’t try! Will definitely be back when I’m around the area again.

Went to check out this old gem in Burbank. The aesthetic was very classic American diner. It was like walking into a blast from the past. We ordered their specialty cocktails; Irish coffee and the White Russian. Personal preference the Irish coffee wasn’t my favorite but enjoyed the White Russian. We also had two double bloody Mary’s which were quite tasty. As for the food, the onion rings were fantastic! We ordered the fish and chips. Fish was quite tasty, mash potato’s were okay. Coleslaw was bland. We also order the ny 10oz steak and egg. I asked for medium and received the steak well done each time. I had already gotten full off the hash browns and eggs by the time my second refire of steak came. I’d like to note that it’s more of a 8oz steak. With the steak and eggs came a choice of toast or pancakes. I was disappointed I had to ask for the pancakes as I already had to have my steak refired twice. The server was a good sport I can tell he was disappointed in the whole steak issue. Once we paid he offered to have another steak made for me to go at the correct temperature. I really appreciated that.
Well overall, great drinks, decent food, and overall good vibes. I would definitely come back.

A magical place. When I think of a proper American breakfast or an authentic meal, this is the spot. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every time we have friends or family visiting from Europe, we bring them here for a true local experience. The food is fantastic — hot and made with love. The staff is always friendly and kind. The bar is really nice too, and it’s a great place for families. Plenty of parking, and we love sitting at the counter watching the cooks work while they greet us with a smile.

Stopped by on a Thursday. Asked about the specials which were advertised at 12.99. The waitress went over 3 options and I ordered the burrito ( which came with a side salad). Charge was over 20 bucks. When I asked her about it, her response was that the specials start at 12.99. I would argue, if I ask about the specials and you don’t mention a price then what you advertise is the price. 20 dollars for a salty burrito is way over priced.
My daughters burger looked good, but questions first because the service is pretty sorry. I regret leaving any tip.

Found on Google Maps, went to try them out.. wasn’t very impressed at all with the food. Service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was cute, but the food was very bland and the steak wasn’t nothing but fat and gristle! Terrible and disappointing.. the steak fries were good and the cream of chicken noodle soup was ok.. but the entrees were not a hit!! I picked out some unseasoned turkey to pack up in a to go container for my pup…

I’m lucky I get to travel for business and I get to eat at some very fancy restaurants and some local dives, I enjoy both. If you like going to a family diner, this is an excellent spot. The breakfast was great. Service was good and if I lived in LA, I would definitely be a regular.
