This was the best experience at a restaurant that I have had (and several in my party) in a very long time. I am a business coach and service is a big component for me. We eat out 3-4 times a week. This eggs up (and I’ve been to several) is the best I’ve been to so far, and even exceeds expectations of any other restaurant I’ve been to!
The food was exceptional (I had a pick 3 omelette) the service was amazing and… drumroll please…Marilyssa, our waitress was literally the best I’ve encountered in years. She was accommodating, pleasant, helpful with menu selection and very quick to see a need and take care of it. Even though they were very busy, she never seemed rushed and covered everything we needed with refills, to go boxes, you name it. From a guy who is focused on customer service excellence and helping companies get there, I don’t say these lightly and this young lady Marilyssa will be an asset where ever she is employed. Kudos to Eggs up for excellent service and food as well. A winning location!!!

Well y’all, new to the area and comin from workin professionally in the industry for about 29 yrs give or take.
I must say; “I believe this has become my new spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The settin is absolutely awesome and welcomin.
The server I had was Marilyssa- beautiful, bubbly, and gives off that welcomin and peaceful vibes. Listened closely to what I would like. Repeated it back and asked questions. Then, sittin at the bar, I watched her walk the cooks through my request, due to he fact “I didn’t order off the menu, just from the menu”. I can honestly say, Marilyssais very good at her job and just a beautiful person in itself. All the other servers, I witness proper communication and helpfulness within the floor and kitchen staff.
My cook was Tammy and she nailed my request for the most part, scipped one step. Presentation was on point and delivered proper. They all were pretty excited to do this. I had a country fried steak pieces and turned into an omelette. All in which was to satisfaction! Pic will be added.

I am more pleased with this establishment/family than I have in a very long time. Thank you for the experience.

Delicious breakfast! I had the Goodness Gracious Omelet — packed with flavor and super satisfying. My husband got the Grand Classic and loved it. Great service, cozy vibe, and everything came out hot and fresh.

Top notch experience. Always looking for great places to eat in Sumter, and this did not disappoint. Tried a variety of plates and they were all good. Service was fantastic and didn’t take a lot of time. Definitely will be a repeat customer. Thanks Eggs Up Grill.

I travel for work and spend a lot of time on the road, which can feel pretty lonely at times. When you find a place that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, it really stands out.

This morning at Eggs Up, I was greeted by a very cheerful young woman when I placed my order. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but her positive energy made a real difference in my day. She was smiling, upbeat, and happy to help, and you could tell she truly enjoyed what she was doing. She was even in the Christmas spirit with fun makeup and earrings, which honestly lifted my mood more than she probably realized.

I was not in the best headspace when I walked in, and that simple kindness and great service turned my morning around. Experiences like that matter, especially when you are far from home.

Excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and a place I would absolutely make a point to visit again if I am back in town.

The food was really good. It was hot and fresh. Our server, Halley, was excellent. Even though they were busy, she was very attentive and polite. The price was very fair and the portions sizes were also just right. I enjoyed eating there.
The only thing was it was very, very loud in there from conversation and nothing to stop the echoing. It’s hard to hear the conversation at your table.
That being said, is definitely return. Everything else was fantastic.

Popped into the local breakfast cafe while visiting our daughter and were pleasantly surprised. The parking lot was a bit packed, and the lobby was buzzing, so we figured the food must be pretty awesome and popular

After a quick 15-20 minute wait, we were welcomed and got our drinks. About 10 minutes later, our food arrived, and we dug in

I had the Egg Bomb BLT with home fries—a light yet satisfying twist on the classic BLT with a fried egg on a brioche bun. The rest of the fam enjoyed over-medium eggs, bacon, toast, home fries, a turkey avocado blt, and some fruit and yogurt (Honey Berry Crunch) with a blueberry muffin

All in all, the food was great. You can’t beat the Southern love in these traditional breakfast classics. Highly recommend Eggs Up and can’t wait to check out their new spot!

There are not enough stars to put up on how amazing their customer service was, is and im pretty sure will continue to be. They make my son and I always feel welcome. My son is a very picky eater and has issues with textures and crowds. Our waitress that day, Makaiyla (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), made sure we felt welcome. When I tried to leave because my son was making a mess, she assured me everything is fine and for me to enjoy my meal. She interacted with my son and she truly made my day. Weve had her numerous times since the and I tell her everytime how much I appreciate her. Weve had various waitress and they all have been amazing. Even the hostess always greets up with a smiling face. I had a problem with a to go order and the manager went above and beyond to correct it despite me saying, I just wanted to bring it to his attention because I know they are always on point. I can’t thank them enough for good food and welcoming environment. Thank you again!

This was a really great breakfast place. However, the last couple of times we visited it’s been disappointing. They lost our name after we checked in. It was only after we inquired that they realized they didn’t have us on the wait list. The very same thing happened to us on our last visit.

After we ordered, we waited around 40 minutes for our food. My Greek omelette was really good but my potatoes and toast were stone cold. I suspect they were plated first and sat for 40 minutes waiting for the omelette. Also, the toast didn’t appear to be toasted (see pictures).

My wife’s sandwich came out well after everything else. Her grits were cold. The bread on her sandwich also wasn’t toasted….even kind of soggy.

The service was really good. The wait staff is always really friendly and fun.

I hope things get better. Sumter needs good restaurants.
