I’m just going to set this photo right here. Yes, it’s dead, but it is indicative of a problem. This will be my last time eating here. I would have left when I first saw it, but my children asked me to chill. I still tried to make them uninterested in staying to place our food order by stressing if this is here in the dining area imagine the kitchen. They say I do too much. Eat here if this doesn’t bother you. I should have gone to the one in Greer or by the Haywood. Just tear this building down. This has nothing to do with the server. She was excellent!!!

Old school Mexican Restaurant (in the American style of Mexican restaurants) that surprised us with the taste and style.
The tamales were very good and can be served Tex-Mex with a covering of chili. My wife had the vegetable quesidilla which she really liked. Of particular note were the mushrooms that seemed to be marinated before cooking. Delicious.
The ubiquitous rice and beans were on point though the beans were a little soupy. I prefer them to be less so, but I ate it all and enjoyed it.
This was a late lunch so we had no trouble getting a table and the staff was efficient and friendly.
I noticed that they serve tequila margaritas and possibly other tequila-based beverages but we did not try them. Next time. The place has a neighborhood feel to it (rather than a corporate vibe) which was was appreciated. We’ll be back.

Interior decor was interesting, but that is all it was. Service was awful, my dad had to find our waitress and tell her that I needed a refill. Food was very basic… chicken in my enchilada could have been softer…. needed more of a crock pot softness to it…as it was a bit tough. Beans had a red color hue to them, was odd, too scared to really eat them. After going to Mr. Salsa and having an much better experience and way better food, I will not be returning here.

We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time for lunch. Took a while to get our food and we were not checked on until the food was brought out. Needless to say, there were empty drink glasses. The quesadilla and rice were good, but the beans were lacking. It was just a meh meal for the cost. Doubt we will be going back any time soon.

My food was legitimately pouring grease/water. And my cheese dip tasted like peanuts as if it had way too much corn starch or was old or something so we couldn’t eat it. My 2 shredded chicken quesodillas legitimately filled my plate with juiced and my ACP just tasted like reheated mush. Service was fine but I definitely don’t recommend eating here if you value your health

This is the first time I went to Monterrey, the place is very nice, so many cool arts and pictures and designs. The atmosphere was calm and the music was not loud. The costume service was great. Chrystal was amazing. She took note of my Islamic diet and gave me suggestions for next time when I go there. I had the dinner special, which was mixed fajitas with soft drink. Delicious indeed, must go again for other dishes.
