I have been to this Leatherby’s at least a dozen times over the past couple of years, and have never once had a problem! The feel of the restaurant itself is super cozy, and the environment is always very clean and free of any messes. The food and ice cream are super fairly priced for what you get, and they are both nothing short of delicious! Even during the busier times of the day, the time it takes for our sever to get our food out to us is very reasonable, and I don’t believe we’ve ever been brought a wrong order.
The most noticeable aspect of this Leatherby’s though, is the service. The employees here don’t just do the bare minimum of showing up and taking our orders/bringing our food. They do so with a smile on their face, and are always very friendly, personable, and polite. I feel comfortable asking them questions, or even just briefly chatting with them, and they always help us feel like we matter and are valued customers.
There is no question in my mind that this Leatherby’s is an easy 5/5 stars. I’m always highly satisfied any time I visit, and will continue to keep coming back for a hot meal and a big ol’ dish of ice cream. If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend checking this location out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Leatherby’s Creamery – Orem, UT
We stopped by Leatherby’s Creamery after dinner — just my wife, Barrie, our son Axel, and me. We didn’t stay long: walked in, grabbed our ice cream, and headed back to the car. But even in that short stop, this place delivered something really memorable.
I ordered the Mint Cookie flavor, and after just one taste of mine, my wife (who’s been very disciplined with what she eats) paused, smiled, and said, “Yep — I need one too.” The moment she tried it, she nailed the flavor:
“It tastes like Girl Scout Thin Mints.”
And she was exactly right. Rich, creamy, with that perfect mix of mint and cookie crunch — it’s the kind of flavor that pulls you right back in after the first bite.
Axel ordered the Biscoff flavor and loved his too. He was all smiles in the backseat the entire drive.
We’ll definitely be back — it was quick, easy, and delicious. Sometimes the simplest stops make the best little memories.

We came on a Friday night at 8 and had to wait about 10 minutes. The ice cream here is really good and creamy. They give you big portions of ice cream and the sundaes here are amazing. We love the peanut butter sundae and the cookie sundae. The service is good. We had our sundaes about 15 minutes after we ordered.

Wonderful. Was there last month & it still on my mind… SO good! Cameron (Camryn?) was our server and she was very attentive and friendly, and helped fix a mistake by kitchen staff at ease for us. She did make us laugh, so we will definitely ask for her again! All staff was so kind as well, everyone had a smile on their face . Food was good but icecream is 10/10. Get the carmel!!!

Leatherby’s is a fun, family-friendly restaurant with a huge variety of both food and ice cream. The crispy fries and the fry sauce are a highlight of the menu, as well as the many ice cream flavors to choose from. They also offer a variety of sundaes and specialty ice cream dishes. The prices can be quite high, but it is worth it for the quality and taste of the food. The staff members are nice and friendly, and the seating is comfortable and clean. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends (30 minutes to an hour max), but the food is definitely worth the wait.

I had the grown up grilled cheese with a side of cream of broccoli soup. Wow! It was such wonderful comfort food. Then, for dessert, I Celeste’s Cookie Concoction: one rather large chocolate chip cookie masterfully pasted to the bottom of an ice cream dish using Leatherby’s amazing Hot Fudge sauce, then covered in two flavors of ice cream ( cookies and cream and peanut butter cup ), followed by more hot fudge sauce, and whipped cream topped with a cherry. Oh, I was in ice cream bliss for the next half hour!

My ice cream was probably the best I’ve ever had! And it was huge, so I took the leftovers home and enjoyed it for 2 more days! I’m not local, but when I’m in the area again, I’ll be stopping!
