Walking into this place, I was greeted with a smile!
I ordered the Double bacon smasher (add the grilled onions) and their smash fries which were tossed in Olive oil, rosemary and whatever else delicious herb and spice they had. The burger was absolutely phenomenal! Not too greasy, you can tell their beef was FRESH unlike these other burger places! The owner was a GEM! He was very friendly, spoke to us like he’d known us his whole life. Told us how he started it all and I of course had to let him know that he is doing a WONDERFUL job with this franchise! The staff was friendly, helping in any way needed!
I cannot recommend this place enough.
If I could give it 10 ⭐ I would!

Was a little worried when I first walked in and saw only a single person working register and kitchen. After about a nine minute wait other employees started coming in and I’m honestly glad I waited. My order arrived in two parts the second tray which I had to inquire about because the server had “Forgot” it but The Deluxe Double Smash is a cut above your average burger loaded with bright, fresh veggies and the Americana Big Dog will have you swimming in dopamine with it’s juicy Angus Dog uniquely wrapped in thick Texas Toast and topped with all the classic hotdog condiments. Last to mention but entirely not the least, I picked the crispy brussel sprouts for a side and I could have eaten a pound of those, alone. Greasy, crispy and flavorful sprouts right from the grill at the perfect temperature. Before I left I needed to use the bathroom and was actually appalled upon entry. The toilet seat itself was cover in a very dehydrated person’s urine, dark yellow sticky mess all over the place, and the sink looks like it hasn’t been washed in a year but the food was absolutely fantastic. Really, wish I would have left before seeing that because it definitely makes me question if these folks wash their hands or not.

A black bean burger shouldn’t taste like mashed beans without flavor on bread. I’m glad she made a mistake and gave me single instead of a double. I ate the fries which were lukewarm because I was hungry. I wanted water from the tap , however they were out of water cups. So I settled for a drink. I will not return and absolutely do not recommend.

Visited Destin Smash Burgers after an app’t today. Our burgers and olive oil/rosemary french fries were delicious! The customer service was great! Chad was so friendly and cheerful. The other employees were quite busy cooking. We don’t get to Destin often since it gets so busy in tourist seasons, but today was perfect! Thank you!! We’ll be back. 🙂 B&B

Food was great everything came out perfect cashier was knowledgeable and the owner was such a nice guy. The tables look small but we have 8 children and were able to fit up front between a few tables so definitely able to accommodate! We would absolutely be back!

I recently visited the Smashburger at Destin Commons and unfortunately, it was a really disappointing experience. I get that it’s called Smashburger, but the buns were literally smashed flat along with the patty, which I don’t think is how it’s supposed to be. The whole burger ended up super thin and way smaller than I expected. The Double Spicy Jalapeño burger was incredibly salty, maybe from some kind of heavy seasoning they used, and the All-American Burger was just drenched in ketchup and mustard to the point of being messy.
To add to that, the loaded fries were just okay, and the Oreo Cookies & Cream shake tasted off, like it had something weird mixed in. When I tried to address it, they told me I had to call a number for any kind of refund instead of handling it there. Plus, I noticed the kitchen staff weren’t wearing gloves, which didn’t feel great from a cleanliness perspective.
Overall, it was just a pretty poor experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on this visit.

We went today 09/13/25 around 6 PM. The cashier was not friendly or welcoming at all. Personally, if I were a local business owner, aside from making sure the food is appreciated, I would focus on ensuring my team is well-trained in customer service. At the end of the day, I might come back for the food, but definitely not for the customer service provided

The register clerk was very nice, patient and had a wonderful personality. The burger was AMAZING and the fries were very tasty. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Had a fantastic experience!!
