Sketchy parking lot flickering lights looks like you’re gonna get robbed homeless man begging for food too. Asked what fajitas he recommends it was $25 I thought it must be good this is what he gave me I’ve never seen rice that color and the meat is mushy I can go to Texas Roadhouse and get a steak dinner for cheaper and I promise it would taste better

I love this restaurant!! This is one of those restaurants that you see in passing and always wonder if they taste good. TOTALLY worth a try. The prices are a little bit up there , but for the portion , quality , and taste , it’s totally worth it. I always get takeout. Soon I’m going to dine in so i can try their margaritas!

I’m going to be real careful on how I review this restaurant. Everyone has different taste and this review is in no way trying to discourage anyone from eating here. I’m only sharing my personal experience.
The service was great but I can’t say the same for the food.
I was supposed to be meeting 12 other people for a late lunch and I was the first to arrive. When I got there, the two host at the front were very courteous and friendly.
While I waited, the host was nice enough to let me look over a menu so I can at least get an idea of what I wanted to eat.
After four more in our party showed up, the host sat us at our table and took drink orders. Once more people started coming, we ordered our food.
I finally decided on the combo platter with the one taco, one cheese enchilada, and one chicken flauta.
The food looked really good when it was placed before me but after my first bite, it wasn’t the best.
To me, the refried beans were bland; the taco meat in my taco had no seasoning; the corn tortilla on the enchilada tasted slightly off.
The rice was ok and the chicken flauta was even better after I added some of the queso that was brought to the table.
Only a few others in our party were disappointed in the food as well.
Our main server continued to come back to check if we needed anything while another server continued to keep our drinks filled. No one received any wrong entrées and we did not experience any major problems when it came to paying our bill.
I feel like they did an exceptional job at being attentive.
If anyone should ever visit this restaurant, the food may or may not be to their liking but I can almost guarantee that they will not be disappointed in the customer service.

Tru mex ! Friendly staff and fast service! Food came out fast and delicious. Not that expensive either! Luis was our server did amazing explaining everything and was very polite and professional! I’m picky with my food and this place is definitely with the money!

We ate here for the first time not too bad. The food was pretty good and the service was fast. Salsa was probably the best I’ve had here in Houston so far that I’d have to say was the best part about this restaurant!! Now the reason I only gave them three stars is because we ordered a regular margarita on the rocks, and it looked and tasted straight like water. I’m not one to complain, but I do like a good margarita with my food. So we did let our server know. He came back, and it was darker but just taste more like hmm well we couldn’t quite put our finger on the taste. Needless to say we did not drink them! Anywho the food was good and like I said the service was fast!

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant since 2018 and they have consistently provided top-tier service and excellent quality. We have visited many other Mexican restaurants and let’s just say you can’t compete where you can’t compare. The staff feels like family now and even know exactly what we want to order. You will not regret spending your hard-earned money here. Worth every penny, every time!

Talking about a disappointment. I ordered the Papa nachos, half order. And you all are not gonna believe the portion size for 9.74.
On top of that, the place stinks.
The hostess was super nice. But apparently, they have changed management, and the food quality has gone down. They do offer margaritas 5.99. But that’s to get you drunk. So you don’t notice the bad quality of food and portions. Smh

I didn’t have much time for lunch but was craving Mexican food. Cilantro’s is a good place for lunch.
The service was awesome and fast.
I enjoyed the chips and salsa, the salsa was not chunky – the way I like it.
The Quesa Birria was very tasty, they gave me 3 tacos and that was really enough for me. As you can see from the photos I was caught up in the smell that I started eating them before I took a picture 🙂

I absolutely love Cilantros, especially this location. It truly feels like home to me — after my mom passed away, the staff here always treated us like family. Their kindness and warmth mean so much. On top of that, the food and drinks are always delicious! This place is more than just a restaurant; it’s comfort, community, and care all in one.
