Went there last night with wifey and relatives. A very nice little Italian restaurant with a great selection. It’s a casual environment. They serve wine and beer. I hadn’t been there for over twenty years because it’s very out-of-the-way for us. I really think they’ve improved since then. I don’t remember what everyone else had but I had spaghetti marinara and breaded shrimp. I’m a simple man. Very good and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Gotta love a salad that’s half cheese! Tasty pizza too. I need to get back and try a horseshoe or one of their CHEAP pasta specials. Someone had the $6.99 lasagna special the night we were there, and it was decent-sized.

This is the second or third time we have eaten at Angelo’s. We are from Texas. The food is very good. Our server was amazing. She managed to deal with our group of 20+. Drinks came out quickly. Food came out quickly. Lots of parking this is a good place for family and friends to eat at.

Nice Italian restaurant in Taylorville, IL. The food was very good and fresh. I watched the waitress patiently work with an elderly gentleman (90+) about the chicken he always gets. She gave him a sample of every chicken dish they made. Never found his favorite, but she remained very patient and kind. Still was able to serve the rest of her customers, including me, without missing a beat. It was very busy! Highly recommended!

I thought I was back in mom’s kitchen on a Thursday night 40 years ago when I walked in to the distinct aroma of marinara sauce in the air. I wasn’t too hungry but did have some garlic bread with cheese ($3.50) which had a perfect balance of cheese and buttery garlic. Companions had lasagna & a Caesar Salad – both of which looked appealing and tasted good according to them. Prices looked pretty reasonable as well considering the size of the portions. I would definitely like to come back here when I have an appetite to try one of the entrees.

They have a daily special. My daughter and I prefer to come on Mondays. That’s the lasagna daily special. It’s lasagna, bread, and a salad. We both order the small lasagna special with cheese added to the bread, ranch on the salad, and iced tea or water. Our last outing was under $20 including tip. It’s very budget friendly.
