I brought the bag back to the store and spoke to the manager shown in the photo. She said they could remake the food and asked if I had the receipt. When she saw the $37 total, she said, “Oh no, you’re lying—we’re not replacing all three bowls.” I told her I never asked for all three bowls to be replaced, only the ones that fell. One bowl was completely gone, and part of another bowl had spilled.
She then told her employee to remake only one bowl. While standing across the dining area, the manager yelled to the employee to add more rice. I replied that I didn’t want more rice and asked why they couldn’t add more protein instead. I told her the customer service was awful and that I would be filing a complaint with corporate.
I took a photo of the manager. As they finished remaking my bowl, another employee approached me and asked why I took a photo of their manager. I explained that I was sending it to her regional manager. The employee asked me to delete the photo, and I said no. She then said she was calling the police, and I replied, “Feel free.”
As they handed me the food and I was leaving, the employee who said she was calling the police ran in front of me and tried to block the door, saying I couldn’t leave. I told her I didn’t care, opened the other door, and left. She then followed me to my car while recording me and speaking to the police on the phone.
I waited 15 minutes for the police to arrive. During that time, I was on the phone with a corporate customer service representative. I finished my call with corporate before the police even arrived.
It wasn’t busy, so got to order my bowl right away. All the ingredients were available. The staff quickly put in all the items. Scanned my membership for points at register, and paying was easy with tap. The soda station had all the condiments. But the soda machine lacked enough gas, the drinks were watery.
The amount of laziness! I assume the workers are not getting paid enough to serve customers properly. It truly makes no sense. First off, I get half a spoon of chicken. I would think I’d get at least a full spoon of chicken, I am paying for a chicken bowl. I got half a spoon of burnt chicken. The picture is a description of the burnt pieces of chicken in the “chicken bowl”. Simply ridiculous, and waste of wait time, and money.
The tin was empty but I watch them grab white rice from I guess the take out area for the customer in front of me. When I said I would also like white rice too they said no we are out. In general it’s seems rude to offer to one customer and not another and it happened right in front of me. I just left once they said that. Poor service.
