Sample moonshine, bourbons and whiskeys, or let us craft a specialty cocktail that showcases the unique flavors of each spirit. Whether you’re local or make Boonsboro your destination, the Pathfinder Farm Tasting Room is a friendly haven for a relaxed gathering. We’re a kid-friendly tasting room. The Tasting Room is located just 3 miles from our farm and distillery off Mt. Carmel Church Road where we turn sunshine in to moonshine, brandy, and whiskey.

I rated the ‘food’ 5-stars, for the ‘food’ at Pathfinder Farm Distillery is premium moonshine crafted into special cocktails. I had the flight to sample 4 and all were delicious. My wife opted for the pumpkin nog. It was so delicious she had a second! We found this place through a Facebook event. There was live music outside by Odie and the Country Band. It was delightful. Especially after I had a shot of their Bloody Butcher Bourbon! We had the pleasure of meeting the parents of the owners while there. It is a relaxed and cozy environment and the people we met were all friendly and warm. Can you tell we had a good time?!

We celebrated our son’s 50th Birthday at Pathfinder’s with an open house gathering for 40+ guests. The staff were extremely helpful in making sure our set up and evening ran smoothly. They were there to calm my nerves as we were pulling things together and jumped in to help. I can’t thank them enough for helping make it a great evening for all especially our son!!!

We’ve been to the tasking room and the farm a few times. It is always a relaxing time, and the drinks are delicious! Last week I had the privilege of renting out the tasting room for my birthday. Best distillery is western maryland, find time to make the trip! Tap room offers a great selection of spirits and moonshine, plenty of seating, and a great gift shop. The bartenders are experts at making a wide range of mixed drinks. Highly recommend the old fashioned and the blueberry mixed drinks. We’re and wine are now offered and there are plenty of games for the family.

If you think you’ve tried good moonshine.. you haven’t tasted anything until you’ve tried Pathfinder’s. Delicious moonshines, cocktails and mixers. And super friendly service! Stopped by on a hot Sunday afternoon and got to taste all their moonshine and whiskey, some of their cocktails, and heard from the owner about his moonshine and farm.
