We visited for our 5 year anniversary from Maryland. Lisa was a wonderful server and the food was absolutely incredible. This little gem seemed to be family owned & what we noticed was there weren’t cell phones out. Everyone was talking & engaging with one another. Great music playing. It’s a rare sight to see. We met a lovely couple seated next to us. Run don’t walk if you want a delicious meal with very friendly, welcoming staff.

A spontaneous Google search of best restaurants in Sussex county led us to Po’ Boys Creole Restaurant in Milton for dinner last night and we were blown away. From the outside the restaurant looks very unassuming, but it was some of the best food Joel and I have ever had.
Our waitress was so gracious with recommendations and letting us sample the Parmesan grits and gumbo.
We will most definitely be back.

You don’t go for atmosphere, you go for amazing food! Went early on a Friday and had no problem getting a table. The three of us had crawfish etouffee, flounder special and fried catfish, all were delicious! The the Beignets are always good.

Everything lived up to its high rating. It looks unassuming from the outside with a small dining area, but it was some of the best Creole food I’ve ever had. The jambalaya stole the show for me, but their calamari, fish, and cornbread were also excellent. The service was attentive and quick as well. 100% a must visit!

So this restaurant is awesome! If you like the little hole in the wall type restaurant, then you will love it. The food is amazing and the service is down home. When you look at the menu it doesn’t say, but the do half portions which is what is show in the pictures. The pictures are of the crawfish etouffee and the shrimp creole. The crawfish etouffee has a little heat to it where as the shrimp creole does not. ( But both are amazing). You absolutely get your money’s worth! If you are driving on rt one towards the beaches then swing off and stop by. It is maybe about 10 minutes straight shot I believe.

We were looking for something a little different. Excellent food and stellar service from Lisa, our waitress. The sweet tea was really good as was the catfish and jambalaya. Great for a taste of N’awlins.

The restaurant is seat yourself only. They take togo orders and seem to do a steady business. It’s a small restaurant but has a good following.
The food is outstanding and holds true to Creole cooking. I had blackened catfish, and it was wonderful. The gator bites were flavorful and delicious. The red beans and rice were fantastic and would recommend it.

This resturant is a great find! Authentic Creole food that was flavorful and well balanced. We had the calamari, fried oysters (the favorite) and gator bites. The gator bites were a bit chewy but the other two were tender. The sauces served with them were a hit.
For dinner, we had the crab cake special and the crawfish etoufee. Both were delicious. The craw fish fish was spicy, but balanced and tasted like it was straight from new orleans.
The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. Full of meat with very little filler.
Overall a great resturant and a must try! The dining area is small, so you may have a wait.

A true gem . The staff is always friendly, we really appreciate the lady’s that work there. The food is something you have to try even if you think New Orleans cuisine isn’t for you. A good first try would be the calamari or parmesan grits. It’s always bumping around dinner time so come early and be patient.
