Love coming to this Chick-fil-a location. I’ve been to the Gurnee one and it was bad. The staff here are very friendly and do a great job. Always appreciate when they walk around and see how things are going. Have bailed me out many times for a refill when I didn’t want to leave my kid alone at the table. My daughter loves the mac and cheese and playing in the play place. Our orders always come out correct. Condiments and napkins are always well stocked. The Gurnee location I had to ask the counter for ketchup and extra napkins… Love the random bingo nights and things like that too.

I’ve given this Chick-fil-A multiple chances, but my last three visits (October, December, and January) have all been disappointing. Each time I placed a pickup order and experienced long wait times, even though I had already prepaid.
All three visits, the sauces I selected with my order were missing. On one occasion, my milkshake sat on the counter so long that it was partially melted by the time I finally received my food.
What’s frustrating is that I regularly visit the Chick-fil-A in McHenry near my workplace and never have these issues—even though it’s a newer location. That team is efficient and well-organized.
Unfortunately, the Vernon Hills location has consistently fallen short, and today was my final visit. Kudos to the McHenry location for doing it right.

They have frequent errors on takeout orders. The worst of any chain. They’re focused on friendly and polite which is nice but what we need is the order to be correct. Last time I told the window guy about their terrible track record. He looked at the tag, checked the bag, and said it’s all there. Missing all of the sauces which is important for nuggets and fries. They need a focused tyoe A person at the window. The friendly guy is inept.

I recently experienced great customer service in the Vernon Hills store. A large order wiped them out of biscuits and instead of telling me sorry, a staff member cobbled together a breakfast sandwich for me using an english muffin and comped it! Perhaps it’s a little gesture, but it made my morning a bit brighter!

I’ve had a craving for the original chicken sandwich. The service outside was great but when I got to the window not so great. I was not happy. I have not experienced not so good service except this one time. That is one of the reasons why I go. This is minor but 1st time my order wasn’t right. I asked for no pickle and got a pickle. Not good when biting into my sandwich when not expecting it.

Was told to pull around drive thru because a new batch of tenders went down. Only 2 designated spots for pickup order to park in. Hovered around a while, went inside to ask about it, was told it was coming in dismissive manner to wait outside. 40 minutes total. Didn’t get a receipt. Left without food. So did others.

So I went during lunch and it was pretty busy, but that’s normal. The person who got my at the kiosk, Stacy. We ordered our food and I ordered a chick noodle soup cup. Then I ask if she could read it bad which she replied, “yeah well I was going to do that anyways” with a condescending tone which I did not like at all. She read it out and did not read out the chicken noodle soup. I asked one more time asking if she had gotten the soup and she replied with yes. When we got our food it wasn’t on the receipt and she had not put it down so I went to re order it. My husband had gotten his food quick in less than 5 minutes but for the one cup if soup it nearly took 10. When I got to open my soup it was nice and hot but there was a HAIR in it. Definitely not mine or my husbands since it wasnt our length of hair nor color. I am very upset with my experience here and would like them to do better.

Been to many chic fil a’s over the years and this store is the absolute worst Three visits(drive thru) and each one either the order was wrong or they haven’t included requested condiments. Will never return to this location.
