I have Rutt’s, L&L, and Ono Hawaiian BBQ near me, but my favorites are about a half hour+ away. Laidback Kids is decent, just a limited menu.

This was the highlight of my trip to California. The local Hawaiian music was outstanding! The male and female dancers from the audience performing hula were outstanding! It was a heartwarming experience and worth the long drive to see it. By the way, the food was excellent and the staff brimmed over with genuine Aloha.

Brought my Ohana to this place that was recommended to me by a co-worker. Drove about 1.5hrs to get there with L.A. traffic. The food DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Auntie Maile’s is serving up some onolicious grinds straight from the Islands. The place was busy only because the food was the real deal. The Service was very good, You could feel the Aloha spirit!! I ordered the Katsu Chicken plate and the Fam ordered Terry Chicken plate, Katsu Bento Box, Roasted Pork, Shrimp Plate. Everything was cooked with love to perfection. They even had a local band playing music that set You at ease. Thank You Aunty Maile’s for bringing the taste of Hawaii in the L.A. area. Love You Guys!!

The way the place looks is very beautiful inside and outside and the food taste amazing. The only thing that kinda got me was the max salad for me. It was too much black pepper. I prefer the Ono Mac but honestly, I can deal with it because the food is amazing. Grabbed the Furikake which is seaweed taste, but tastes amazing, and the Korean chicken was very good also the beef teriyaki was very tender and flavorful also, they had very good customer service would recommend

On a quick day trip to LA, I wanted to grab a quick breakfast not too far from LAX. I saw something on YouTube about this place so I figured I’d give it a try.

Walking in I was immediately greeted and told what the day’s specials are. I read through the menu and decided to try the Roast Pork Loco Moco.

After sitting down i waited a few minutes when a huge food container was placed in front of me. I opened up what could easily be the food equivalent to Lunesta!

This dish was soaked in gravy with the egg on top of a huge piece of roast pork. Each bite was delicious and the gravy (which is house made) was fantastic! I got about 2/3’s in and I literally couldn’t cram another bite into my mouth.

As for the restaurant, it’s a no-frills type of place that serves up great dishes and sells products from Hawaii. Service wise, amazing! The gentleman at the counter was friendly and checked in to see if I hadn’t passed out a couple times.

If you’re in the neighborhood looking for some Hawaiian Grindz, make this your stop!

2nd time coming here and loving it even more then the first time. There’s always parking in the shopping plaza but both times I’ve came, once on a weekday and this time on a Saturday, the restaurant is packed. The only difference is on weekends, they apparently have bands playing and hula dancing as well.

The Kalbi short ribs is def our favorite here and the macaroni salad and rice that comes with it pairs perfectly with it. We also tried the teriyaki chicken and poki avo style. Both are delicious! The teriyaki flavor is just right and chicken is soft. The tuna taste fresh and it’s soft but next time I’d ask for less soy sauce as it was a bit too salty for me to eat it plain without rice. But that’s personal preference so no complaints here.

Overall: we love the service here and food is great for the price they charge. And judging by the amount of people that comes, everyone feels the same way. This is def our go to place when we’re craving for Hawaiian food!

Great food, great menu and local! Very good Hawaiian food. I had kalua pork and shrimp and the pork was amazing. Friends had teriyaki chicken and poke bowl, and I would definitely try the poke bowl next time. Restaurant was busy at lunch which I take as a good sign.

My Hawaiian friend recommended me this restaurant and it was as good as he said. Foods are clean, tasty and affordable. Staffs are friendly too. Just one thing I wish was they serve dining in instead of all to-go containers.

This modest, fast-paced Hawaiian restaurant has all the favorites you’d expect. The line can seem a bit intimidating, but it moves quickly and is totally worth the wait. The staff is friendly, efficient, and welcoming. I got the combo plate, which was more than enough food with some left over. I highly recommend the Garlic Shrimp (a must!), Furikake Chicken, and upgrading to the Pork Fried Rice. Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Expect to spend around $25 per person. This place is my new favorite Hawaiian spot in Torrance/South Bay!

I have been wanting to try this place for a few months and finally went today! It was pretty busy but they did a great job taking orders while people were waiting in line. I got the Mix Plate with Furikake Chicken and Garlic Shrimp and it was delicious! The chicken reminded me so much of a place I ate at when I visited Oahu and I can’t wait to go back. One thing that really stood out is the team member who took my order also came around to check on everyone in the dining area and he mentioned me by name which was a personal touch that made this an overall excellent experience!

As a first timer I was disappointed that they didn’t serve poke but that disappointment slowly faded once I ordered Hawaiian food. The hamburger steak and beef teriyaki steak was the highlight of the show. The steak tender with every bite. Everything super flavorful. I hope the next time I go they have poke available.
