I originally came here for the crawfish po boy, but it was out of season unfortunately. So beware of the menus you see in the other reviews, as they may not be accurate anymore. I instead had a philly cheesesteak, and I honestly didnt like how they put the cheese on top like that. Not pretty in my opinion… The tots were good though! And the bread pudding was REALLY good. What I found strange however was that I didn’t taste the whiskey (?) sauce that was supposed to be drizzled on top. So I don’t know if they forgot it, or if they didn’t use much alcohol for the sauce at all. Overall, not a bad experience.

Came in today for lunch food was great and service was awesome! My server amazing Trell was on his A game! Very respectful and personable! Food was cooked to perfection! I just have to share about our experience this evening. Upon our arrival at 5 on a Friday, we were greeted immediately by two different employees and seated immediately! Our waitress arrived quickly and was just as welcoming and kind. Sadly, I had a little issue with my meal and wasn’t gonna make much of it but the waitress insisted on making it right. It’s been a long time that I have felt that welcomed and appreciated for being their customer. Our drinks were refilled before they were even empty! As we left, the male host ran to open the door for us to leave. He’s had some good home training is all I have to say or work training. We’ve only been here a handful of times but I’m pretty sure we will be back sooner this time. Keep up the good work! Customer service was top notch!

I had a really disappointing experience at Gators Dockside. The service was unbelievably slow. It took over 15 minutes just for someone to come take our drink order, and then another 20 minutes to actually receive the drinks — and the restaurant was basically empty. There were only a few people at the bar and a couple of other tables, so there really wasn’t any excuse for the delay.
The food was underwhelming at best. It’s very basic bar food and nothing special, especially for the prices they charge. To make it worse, they even charge extra for cheese on a wrap. Seriously? That just feels nickel-and-dimed.
Honestly, if the parking lot has more than five cars, don’t bother. Based on this experience, they clearly can’t handle even a small crowd.
Would not recommend. Go to Dicks, you’ll have much better everything

I can honestly say that we have never had anything from Gators that wasn’t delicious! The food is always fantastic! The staff is always nice and helpful. We have had a few minor instances, in the spirit of full disclosure, when we didn’t receive condiments or something else we ordered. It was never anything worth truly making a fuss over though. The few times when I realized something was missing before leaving, they quickly rushed to action and fixed the issue while apologizing. Truly wonderful service! We almost always take it home because we literally live a couple of miles down the road, but the times that I’ve been inside, the atmosphere is always great. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and enjoying the food and fun! I would absolutely recommend the philly to anyone who likes food! It’s fantastic! All in all, I don’t believe you can go wrong with Gators Dockside.

Wasn’t the busiest the last 2 times we went but good service. Food is normally good to excellent. Always recommend the onion petals rather than the fries which are often disappointing. Love the Scooter sauce. Never had a bad meal. Price is reasonable for 2025 eating out. Good range of drinks & daughter was impressed with their non alcoholic Moscow Mules. Lots of TV screens for the sports fanatics!

Stopped by for a quick bite after driving all day. Walked in and was immediately greeted effusively by Aliyah a pocket size server with an enormous personality. She seated us rapidly made us fresh coffee and got the order in quickly. Super Nachos were old school. Stack of Nachos layered with a nice blend of chili, cheese tomatoes, lettuce and lots of jalapeños. Have not had nachos this good in over 10 years. Followed by a good Cuban. Then we had a warm apple blossom tort with vanilla ice cream and a light caramel and whip cream all put together by Aliyah. She’s just too cute like one of my kids.

This is a sports bar and restaurant. The food and cocktails are good. The chicken tenders and fish tenders are good. The fries are so-so kind of soggy. The service is usually good but varies. They have a Trivia game night which is fun.
