We are visiting The Villages and decided to have dinner at Glenview Champions Country Club. Our waitress, Samantha was very friendly and helpful. We had the specials they were offering. I had the seafood gnocchi and it was incredibly delicious. We have eaten at several restaurants in the villages and this was the best meal we have had here. The price was very reasonable too. The manager, Carolyn stopped by and checked on our satisfaction. She was very kind and told us about a loyalty program they have. We promptly signed up for it as we will be moving here. We will definitely be regular customers in the near future. The service, staff and food was A+ and I would highly recommend the Glenview Champions Country Club.

We had a large gathering of Noonatics ( Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone) fan club. Reservations were made. We were all sat quickly in an area by ourselves to not disturb others. Our wait staff was excellent! Sandra was waitress for our large table, she was so attentive to all our needs. The food was plentiful and delicious! Highly recommend!

Great food and drinks. Great service and atmosphere. The wedge salad was the biggest salad I’ve ever seen! We made a reservation for 8 and had no waiting. It’s not much to complain about, but I wish their wine glasses were nicer. You pay pretty high end prices for cheap glasses.

Went to Glenview tonight for the German night special menu. Both of our entrees were excellent, as were all the sides! Very tasty! Our server Anna was great! She was very friendly and attentive. Only negative was the noise level in the dining room. It was pretty loud. But Anna and the delicious food made tonight a great experience. We’ll be back soon for sure!

Veronica was an excellent server! She was very professional, attentive, and had such a lovely personality that made the whole experience even better. She stayed on top of everything without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed.

While the food itself was a little underwhelming, the service truly made up for it. Veronica’s positive attitude, attention to detail, and overall great energy really elevated the entire visit. Super great service all around — we’d definitely be happy to have her as our server again!

Our seating was by the fireplace so we were nice and cozy on a cold night. The value of the night’s special was very good with abundant portions. Our server, Kimberly, took good care of the ten of us there celebrating a birthday. It was a very enjoyable evening!

We ate outside on the patio and loved it. There was a great solo piano player playing great songs. I had the New York strip special and my wife had the salmon. Both of ours meals were tasty and portions were large. Our server was just okay. She was pleasant but not too attentive and /or available. We asked to have a heater started and she said she would, but it never happened. We were out of water, but she never checked. The thing that was bad, and I don’t think it was the waitress fault, but it well over 45 minutes for our food to come after ordering. Fortunately the music was great, so that didn’t make it seem so long.

Our waitress Sandra was amazing! Although she was very busy she was attentive to all of our needs. We never felt neglected or forgotten. We had an amazing night and food at Glenview and will be returning and asking for Sandra to take care of us again. Thank you for the great food and service.

We decided to have my Dad’s Celebration of Life ceremony coupled with my parents anniversary brunch, as it would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. We had this event at Glenview and they did not disappoint!
My Step-Mother originally worked through the details with the Manager, Ryan Morrison, to set up all the pre arrangement plans. On the date of the event (08/09/2025) another Manager, Carolyn Joiner, ensured that everything was perfect. The two servers (Kayle and Kim) were also amazing and attentive. We saw an awesome show of teamwork from this restaurant as they all ensured that this event was flawless. We have incredible new memories to attach to this event in remembering my Dad, and my only regret is that I cannot have a drink at the bar with him next time I am in town.
I can assure you though, that I will return to visit because this business is top notch and I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to host an event, or just get a great meal, set your sights on Glenview Country Club.
Service, Quality, Professionalism, Friendly, and Attentive are just a few traits that you will get at Glenview, not to mention the food has always been great as well!

Thank you to the entire staff for all that you did to make our memories of my Dad some of the best to share with family and friends!

I really wanted to love this place for its classic country-club feel — like the good old days. Unfortunately, the food quality has been steadily declining since around 2014. The brunch prime rib used to be delicious and tender, exactly how it should be. At my most recent brunch, however, it was very chewy, and everything moved painfully slow.
What makes this especially disappointing is knowing how much of today’s restaurant food comes from large national distributors. It’s no secret in the industry that many restaurants rely on mass suppliers, where products are offered in different quality tiers. When kitchens choose lower tiers to control costs, the difference shows — in texture, flavor, and overall consistency. Sadly, this brunch felt like a clear example of that downgrade.
It also feels like very little is made in-house anymore. What once tasted fresh and homemade now comes across as frozen and reheated, likely relying heavily on microwave ovens rather than proper preparation. That shift alone changes the entire dining experience.
Our waitress, Heather, is very nice, but when the bar gets busy, I’m not sure she should also be responsible for tables. I repeatedly had to get up to refill my own water. Honestly, I don’t think this was her fault — the entire bar was full, and she seemed overwhelmed.
On a positive note, the person carving the prime rib was wonderful and truly made you feel like family. That warmth and hospitality are what this place used to be known for.
At the end of the day, I always expect what I call “the three Hail Marys” of any dining experience:
great atmosphere, great hospitality, and great food.
The atmosphere and hospitality are still there — I just hope the food can once again rise to meet them.
