Jake – Best Waiter Ever!

I celebrated my birthday dinner, tonight and I just had to share how amazing Jake was as our waiter. He went above and beyond to make the evening truly special! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and attend es to our every need with a smile.

Jake’s attention to detail and genuine kindness truly stood out. He helped us with recommendations and made sure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. My family and I had a fantastic time, and it was all thanks to his outstanding service.

Jake is, without a doubt, the best waiter I’ve ever had. Thank you for making my birthday dinner so memorable!

Pleasant dining experience for a Friday evening. The dining rooms are spacious; the atmosphere pleasant. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Our wait time for food service was surprisingly quick and our food was well prepared. The dining room was clean and well kept. The price for 4 adults to done was reasonable.

Me, my husband and my daughter went out for dinner and it was pretty good. My daughter got the spaghetti and meatballs, my husband got the chicken parmesan and I got the grilled chicken Alfredo. My daughter and I say the Alfredo was the best of the main dishes. We also had chicken gnocchi soup and salads which were delicious. The service by our waitress was outstanding! She was very attentive to our needs and checked in frequently. It wasn’t too busy so there was no wait and we got our food quickly.

This Olive garden was so clean you could probably eat off of any surface and be safe. All the employees were welcoming and understanding of my disability. All around best Olive Garden experience I have ever had. The manager is extremely personable, and his staff is incredible! This last time me had Carlee, and she made my birthday so special, honestly because if her, this was ine of the best birthdays i have ever had.

All of their food is fresh, and they make an effort to make sure nothing sits too long.

I recommend this Olive Garden most out of any in town.

Came in tonight with my family for dinner. We were greeted tonight by a friendly and attentive staff. Cody our waiter did such a fantastic job we are impressed by him. Overall, everything went smooth and no issues. Loved the wine bar located right behind the hostess desk. Nice decor and ambience. I highly recommend this location.

UPDATE Feb 28, 2025: I like the Olive Garden, but I had to lower its rating because of the quality of MY food on this lunch.

Everything else was great. The atmosphere was good, people friendly, the room was bright and cheery, and our waitress was personable and helpful, and she didn’t even scowl (as some other restaurants do) when we only ordered the smaller lunch portions. My wife’s chicken parmesan was good for her, except that it was covered in chopped tomatoes instead of marinera sauce — not bad, you just need to be aware of this when ordering. Our friends’ lasagna, lunch sized, was tasty and he enjoyed it, properly crusted and it has both ground beef and sausage. I ordered a side order of meatballs, and a side order of sausage, and asked them to exchange marinera sauce for Bolognese (meat sauce), and they were happy to do that. When it came, the meatballs, as usual were nice size and hot inside. The two sausages however, were just barely warm on the insides, and mushy to boot. I could only eat one of them and left the other. Now the meat sauce was excellent. I realize these meatballs and sausages are ‘pre-cooked’, which is smart, and then warmed up, but these felt like they had not been fully cooked and then not warmed up enough.

BUT, I should also say that the New England Clam Chowder my wife ordered was both of a good size and very, very tasty. In fact, the only restaurant I know of, in Tucson, which serves clam chowder as good as this is the Audobon Bar and Grill (which is inside the Arizona Inn ‘down’ in Central Tucson near the University).

Good job, but please pay attention to the temperature of the food.

UPDATE Sep 8, 2024: Just like last time we had lunch at the Olive Garden, the food was tasty, there was more than enough of it, the servers were friendly and helpful (and even the Manager stopped by to say hello), the food was served promptly … and I’ve even gotten accustomed to using that little ‘payment kiosk’ that they put on your table. ALSO, they were kind enough to give us all ‘drinks to go’ … which is good given how much they (and all restaurants!) charge for a drink these days.

Again, the meatballs were great, the toasted ravioli the same, the pasta my daughter had was TASTY (good flavor).

The only thing I found annoying, was that, as they sat us in the bar area, because the floor is tiled with ‘Mexican’ tiles (which are a bit bumpy, when the dish collection cart came by, it rattled and made a lot of noise. Surely there’s a better way to collect dishes.

Fine lunch today, and great and friendly service by Austin.

The meatballs were as good as any I’ve had in Tucson, my loved the toasted ravioli and our friend thought the chicken Marsala was excellent. We all three enjoyed O G’s version of beignets (with plum sauce and chocolate sauce for dipping) and the chocolate layered “brownie” was scrumptious.

We came from Colorado to celebrate my wife and her twin sister’s birthday. Though the atmosphere was great, and the restaurant was clean, the service was horrible, and the margaritas were weak.

We could not taste the liquor in the margaritas, it seemed nonexistent. One of the four of us ordered the endless salad, soup and bread sticks. After the expected first salad bowl and 5 breadsticks arrived, that was it! Refills were not offered at all.

When the other 3 entrées arrived along with the first bowl of soup, a second salad was requested. The server acknowledged the request, then began talking to a couple at the table next to us who were her regulars.

She talked with them for 18 minutes as they discussed a house she was purchasing, along with other topics. It was long enough that the other three entrées were finished before she came back to our table. At that time, she asked if we wanted another bowl of soup. Our reply was that it was a little late, and she offered to give us a bowl to go.

The point of ordering food in a restaurant is to expect to be paying for the ambiance, atmosphere, and have an enjoyable meal together, not take out or take home.

This is the $6 take home manicotti. Is there a sauce shortage I don’t know about? I literally had to add my own marinara to this so it wouldn’t be bone dry, because they put zero sauce on this. Worse yet the ricotta was spoiled and sour as hell, had to throw the whole thing out because it was half-rotten. Come on OG, you can do better than this. Being an Italian restuarant and giving people dry pasta and spoiled cheese is just bad, like really really bad. This place should prob be shut down, their food is terrible.

Our visit to Olive Garden was fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible server, Ashley! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. But the real highlight? She let us in on what we’re now calling the “secret third” dipping sauce.

We had no idea this sauce even existed, but Ashley made sure we didn’t miss out—and wow, were we glad she did! It took the breadsticks to a whole new level. (Seriously, if you haven’t tried it yet, you need to.)

On top of that, Ashley’s service was outstanding. She made us feel welcome, kept everything running smoothly, and just made the whole meal even better. If you’re at Olive Garden, ask for Ashley—and don’t forget to request the secret third dipping sauce!!
