I will never try anything new from this place again. Stick to the regular items they have on the menu. I decided to try the new sirloin steak sandwich because it looked so good. What I got was crap on a bun. I am so disappointed. Plus, my lettuce was so wilted. The fries were great, but the sandwich was trash. I couldn’t even eat it after taking a bite.

I stopped by The Habit Burger Grill for a quick lunch and figured I’d give it a shot since it was my first time there. I’ll start by saying the staff were great—very friendly, helpful, and patient with recommendations. The place was also clean and well-kept, which I appreciated.
As for the food, it reminded me of typical stadium or ballpark-style meals. The chicken bites were pretty good, but the burger itself felt very basic, almost like something from Burger King, and the bun didn’t taste fresh—more like it had been sitting out for a while. The fries were bland at first and definitely needed salt, but once seasoned they were decent. On the other hand, the strawberry lemonade was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal.
I would still come back to try something different—specifically their salads, because they looked pretty good based on the menu photos.

This place has been here for a while. I never think about them when looking for food. We stopped by on a Saturday evening to see what they had. They have a nice menu selection. All the food is cooked fresh when ordering. They have a pepper bar here. The burger was cooked right and tasted good. The fries were crispy and fresh. The staff was friendly and special orders are no problem. The restaurant was nice and clean. I will be back to try some more soon. I would give them 8 out of 10 stars.

I always make a point to stop by The Habit Burger Grill in Waldorf whenever I’m in town. Their salads are fresh and flavorful, and I also love their burgers and shakes always a solid choice.
The team is fast, efficient, and gets orders out quickly, which I really appreciate. The prices are fair, though slightly higher than they used to be , but the quality and portion sizes have remained consistent.
Highly recommend this location for a quick, tasty meal with great service!

The Habit is by far my family’s favorite restaurant. It’s an unassuming and simple burger place, but offers a wide variety of healthier options, including a salmon burger, two vegetarian burgers, Caesar salad, tempura green beans. Their flavored lemonade is fantastic. Staff are attentive and the service is kind. The location is kind of run down (rips in seats etc) but always clean.

Burgers were decent – nothing special. They were well seasoned – perhaps ever so slightly salty. Toppings were accurate and fresh. Fries had a nice flavor even without ketchup, just salt. The tempura green beans were heavenly. They were juicy yet still had a delightful snap. They *must* be enjoyed with the ranch sauce they provide. Also, the peach ginger nectar on tap was SO good. They get extra points for free refills. Finally, service was spectacular. When I mentioned I had never been there before the cashier offered me a blend of fries and green beans so I could try more items without having to pay more. He was also just very pleasant. Establishment was clean throughout.
Misses: no paper towels in the clean women’s bathroom, ran out of fresh ketchup so we had to use packets, wait time was a little long for what we ordered, skip brussel sprouts… my camera makes them look better than they look! Hard to keep them warm in their airy space so they turned cold and vinegary quite quickly.

My burger was a TAD pink, and the fries aren’t my favorite, but the whole experience was great. Would happily visit again. The cleanliness of the place is a big factor here — keep it up!
FYI: They did pull a “Burger King” on me and charge extra for cheese, so my single meal was just under $10.

I was looking for a new place to get a good burger and I came across The Habit Burger Grill. Decided to give them a shot after reading the menu and boy am I glad I did! The burger that I got (the Santa Barbara Char) was sooo good! On top of that, the cashier was super friendly and helpful! He answered all my little questions with a smile on his face! I will definitely be back!!
Side note: the pic of the burger is from the day after I got it that’s why the avocado doesn’t look as green. When I bought it the previous night it was super fresh & delicious (that’s why there’s only one half in the pic ).

The Habit Burger is a small chain of fast casual restaurants that begun in 1969 in Santa Barbara, CA. Their charbroiled burgers are made to order, as well as their fries, onion rings, salads and shakes. I had their single burger, which comes with everything, an order of onions rings and a chocolate malt. The burger was hot and delicious, and so where the onion rings! I loved the chocolate malt shake, a rarity this days. The place was impeccably clean, and the service was efficient and fast, considering that everything is made to order!
