Joe Vera’s has a great private dining room for private groups. We reserved it for a birthday and it was a great choice. Their server was great, efficient and friendly. The entree portions were very large and the food was delicious. The chips were crispy and the salsa was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The background music was a little loud for the conversation but overall the atmosphere was fun and casual. Would definitely go back.

It was a long day. But this visit, was so bad! The service was so bad. She kept coming out, asking what type of meat and sauce. Not only that, but we waited and hour and half for our food. Chips and salsa was old and tasted spoiled. But when we got our food. The food tasted from a can! It was the worst! We didn’t eat due to fear of getting food poisoning.

Went to lunch with a friend. Haven’t eaten here since they were in the old hotel off University Ave. The parking was hard, since it off Center Street. The service was fast, ordered our food, got our appetizer and drinks. Then our food came out. I forgot how much food they give you. I couldnt finish half of my food. I like how the restaurant has a small bottle of salsa in a bottle placed at the table, so when your little bowl runs out, you refill it yourself.

Some of the best fajitas I’ve had in Utah. The Angus Beef was mouth-watering and the grilled veggies were so good! Large portions!!They sat our group of 14 really quickly, and made sure to check in with us often. Fun environment and kid friendly.

New favorite find! I’m new to the area and stumbled on this little Mexican spot and wow, it did not disappoint.
• The fish tacos were crispy + fresh (their tortillas are perfection).
• The salsa bar is so many good choices.
• The fresca of the day was beyond refreshing.
• And they’ve got great outdoor seating for soaking it all in.
Best part? The owner, Joe, was super kind and friendly; you can tell he really cares about the place.
If you’re craving good Mexican food, this is worth the drive.

A quaint Mexican ambiance filled with authentic style. Excellent food, very busy, and kind staff. My only problem is I paid $4.36 for a Jarrotos Pop. Very overpriced if you’ve ever bought one for $2.86 Canadian ($1.50 USD). Otherwise, a lovely place to eat especially for an authentic experience. 30 minutes for an order or tacitos! I’ve made tacitos before and it doesn’t take this long. Could be a bit more organized!

Upon entering the restaurant right at opening, the place had an unpleasant smell for some reason. We stopped by for a quick food break. Got their tacos, it was delicious the meat was marinated really well. Just a bit too salty for my liking. Chips and salsa was also delicious. Staff were kind. 🙂

Service – they are didn’t charger the right amount . They were worried get their 60 cent.
Atmosphere- They have all the customers in one corner, even though they have the whole restaurant just spread us out

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this restaurant. We got in dinner time. We ordered the Steak and Shrimp. I asked no beans double rice and my portion was not even doubled from my friend’s order. We got both diet drinks and lime on the side and the server didn’t bring us any.
Service: 2/5
Servers attention to details were very poor. Didn’t check on us at all till he brought out our food and came back later to just give our check.
Food: 2/5
Rice wasn’t even Mexican style rice and slightly undercooked. I asked for a medium and it came out rare which I still ate it because I don’t mind rare. Just prefer medium. Shrimp was pretty good.
Atmosphere: 2/5
One thing that bothered me the most is they are vacuuming while we were eating. Couldn’t really hear anything. Thought it was a little unprofessional. It was an hour before it’s closing so it’s not like we were eating past the business hours.
