We were downtown for an event across the street at the Baird Center. It was lunchtime and we needed something close by that we could walk to. This place is literally right across the street, so it was a perfect option. There were six of us, all with different appetites and preferences.

Food:
Our group ordered a variety of items including a pastrami sandwich, tomato soup, chicken wings, grilled cheese, and I got the chopped salad. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive. Temperatures were right. Hot items were hot and cold items were cold. Portions were also good.

Reviews on the food were mixed. The standout of the lunch seemed to be the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The cheese was nicely melted and the added avocado brought a nice flavor to the sandwich. I thought the grilled cheese was good, but it could have used a little more butter and more grilling for deeper flavor and crispness.

The chicken wings were ordered buffalo style. The one wing I tried was a bit overcooked and tough, and several were left unfinished. My chopped salad was okay but not remarkable. It almost felt more like a “diced salad.” Everything was cut into very small pieces, including the bacon and chicken. A soup spoon might have been a better utensil than a fork.

Service:
The restaurant opens at 11:00, but the doors didn’t open until about 11:10. Not a big deal, but by then a small line had formed outside. Once we were seated, service was very good. Our server handled all the basics well, waters, menus, drinks, and food timing. They were pleasant and efficient, though not especially chatty or personable. We were not asked about dessert, which made me wonder if they even offer any.

Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is solid and very much feels like a pub. There are some interesting wall decorations tied to the beer industry. Seating works well for different group sizes. In the room where we sat, there were only two other groups and the acoustics were good. It was easy to have a conversation without raising voices.

Overall, a decent spot, especially if grilled cheese and tomato soup are what you are craving.

I decided to give them a try and I’m glad I did. I tasted two of their drinks: the raspberry lemon drop and peach mule. Both were equally as tasty, tangy, and well balanced. They weren’t too syrupy or alcohol forward. I decided to do well sized entrees: their famous buttermilk battered cheese curds and the pork slider trio. This was my first time tasting cheese in Wisconsin, shame on me. It was packed with flavor and had depth to it. Definitely adding curds to my bucket list everyone I’m in Wisconsin. The pork slider trio was a nice balance of softness with the buns, tender meat and sweetness from the bbq sauce. I have nothing but positive remarks for Miller Time Pub & Grill.

This bar is located inside the Hilton City Center. I arrived late in the evening and was glad to know this place is open until 2am. I sat at the bar with a friend and was helped by Luke who was so incredibly kind and attentive. The menu here had some great selections but I opted for just the cheese curds, which were amazing. They came out hot and fresh and paired well with my beer. This bar is definitely worth visiting. Great service and great food.

I was staying at the hotel nearby and decided to grab something that I could take to my room and eat. It’s a cute restaurant and wasn’t very crowded when I came in.
The bartender placed my to go order. I decided on a simple burger with fries and it was delicious! The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I will definitely be back!
Also I’m sorry I didn’t get a burger picture, it was just too good. But I did get a picture of the menu for future reference.

Was in town for Midwest gaming classic and was looking for somewhere to hang out on a Sunday night.

We get down to the corner and the bar is located within the Hilton hotel, but there is an outside entrance.

Inside your meet with a barrage of awesome beer related memorabilia throughout the restaurant.

We were sat on the street side of the restaurant which was nice. We were able to see outside and it was quiet cuz there was no really anybody in the area.

There was five of us and we decided to all pick something different.

There was some soups, some salads, a burger sliders, and a couple other traditional meals. Traditional meals

We all had a couple of beers, mostly the house brands since it’s Miller. There was some Budweiser as well in there and they gave out some free samples and tasters for beers that we hadn’t tried before.

Not a bad little pickup. They were out of some of the beers I did request which was noticeable. Chad, a convention could suck up. All the best beer. I understand why it was gone so I’m not going to hold them against that.

Had the cheese double double burger. It was smaller than imagined but the flavor was good. Wife had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was gone quickly. Beer of the Month was Yuengling and it was $5 for the boot.

Luke the bartender was freakin awesome.
I mean. Friendly Positive Attitude and Pride in his work. It was such relief to see that kind of integrity pride and work ethic these days. It’s been a long time I had such great service.
Good for you!!!

Extremely disappointing visit. The menu was “express” and yet the entire process was significantly slower than it would have likely been. Well over a 2 hour visit. My server Amanda was beyond subpar. Mentioned she was new but there’s a line. Had to specifically make sure I wasn’t going to get over charged, only starting coming back to the table once I verbalized how poor of an experience this was becoming. Whoever the manager was also really rudely dropped and dashed our order. No hello here’s this item or anything. Just drop and walk away, nothing. Never coming back. Highly recommend avoiding here.

Stopped in quickly for a take-out salad before heading to room. Staff at bar greeted, took and placed order quickly. As we returned to get our salad, we noticed how busy the restaurant was – crowded and bustling.

Good: Salad with grilled chicken. Was okay. The flavors didn’t quite mesh. Chicken tasted like pesto, with a weird tasting French dressing caused taste confusion. I wouldn’t order again.

I would visit again and try something different, or ask for no pesto chicken and change the dressing.
