I was very disappointed that my Sam’s special sub neither looked OR tasted like it’s supposed to taste and look. I understand that this restaurant is indeed not owned and operated by the original Sammios on Hope Mills Rd (N. Main. St.). However, I would hate for consumers to try the recipe you all are using and unfairly draw the conclusion that BOTH restaurants have and use same menus. I also understand that people have bad days so I didn’t want to interfere by speaking with management, been one of them and I could tell they were short . People there are fabulous will be going myself soon. Please view pic if the awesome pizza fries!!

My husband and I order take out almost always from any restaurant including this one. At this Sammios the service is excellent and so is the food. We are long-term customers. We had spaghetti and meat sauce and chicken marsala the last two times we’ve ordered. Both dishes were absolutely delicious with generous portions. This restaurant was fabulous during the pandemic by allowing take out orders delivered to your car. We’ll always be thankful for that courtesy and concern during such a difficult time. They are very concerned about treating their customers fairly and respectfully. We highly recommend this restaurant.

First gf pizza I got was very delicious. So I went back and was disappointed ☹️. Cheese wasn’t even melted. Not as good as my first visit in fact it was bad . If my 2nd visit was my first visit there wouldn’t be a 2nd visit. Everybody has bad days, so I will give them a third chance. If it is as good as the first , I will take down this review and give 5 stars.

The owner was very nice and asked if everything was OK because I was talking so much and not eating my food. I thought that showed that he pays attention to his customers. Our waitress was amazing top. It was a great experience. And the pizza was really good.

the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great vibe. the fried calamari was easily the best part of the meal. the alfredo was pretty standard, but it could’ve used a little more salt. the chopped steak was basically a beef patty, but was better than i expected. i’d definitely come back to try more of their menu. and their weekday deals are crazy good.

My husband and I had dinner on December 31, 2025 at the Hope Mills location . I ordered chicken Alfredo, and it was horrible! The waitress brought my food from the kitchen cold, and the bread wasn’t done. The Chicken Alfredo tasted like water. I felt if my 10 year old son cooked it for me. I was very disappointed and do don’t recommend this place to anyone. The staff was not kind as well. In my 20 years in the military this is the worst restaurant ever!!!!

Dinner was delicious, like homemade!! We had the calamari, lasagna, Buffalo chicken salad, spaghetti, manicotti and pizza. Tuesday night specials, the small 1 topping pizza is $5. Definitely a family night dinner.

We went to Sammios for a lunch. We did have a large group. The food was pretty good! The quality of the food was good but I was a little disappointed that the food was not hot hot upon arrival at the table. I was also hoping for fresh Parmesan for the dish and they had grated Parmesan.
It was a large group and they were short staffed so the service was a little slow. They did forget a few salad dishes before the food was served.
