This is a Great spot for some casual Mexican food and low key meals.
Food quality was good. Portions are decent. But the tableside guacamole was not impressive , especially after compared to what some other Mexican restaurants offer.
Pricing is reasonable & atmosphere is comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will return for more exploration and updates on reviews.

So my first date with my gf was at an on the border restaurant. Not this one, another one that had closed down. So happy to have found this one because it brought back such nice memories ☺️.
First off the atmosphere is so nice and authentic and elevated. It feels like a very classy version of the dozens of Mexican restaurant’s around the area. The chips and salsa were borderline perfect. We had a cheese dip as an appetizer that complemented the chips pretty well. I had a beef enchilada with sour cream sauce that was delicious. My girl had a chicken enchilada that was phenomenal.
Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Went here for lunch with friends. The ambiance of the place is beautiful. We were served immediately, and the guy who took our order was really accommodating. Unfortunately, I did not get his name. Food was delicious and they gave us Nachos as complimentary and it is really good. I will definitely come back.

We do enjoy this place. We ordered the same thing twice in 14 days. However, the second time was not as good as the first. Im not giving much damage for that since they did seem to supply extra chips. We ordered chicken fajitas and some sort of stack em nachos. The first time everything was awesome. The chicken fajitas were delicious and the nachos were amazing. The nachos made a meal itself. The second time we ordered it my nachos were stale and hard. Keep in mind ,each time they provided us with a nicely size bag of extra nacho chips. Clearly not the same chips in my nachos though. Second order…. I ended up taking out all the stale chips out and replacing them with the fresher chips. Again, not giving much damage for that but come on guys…eat a freakin chip before you put the nachos together. ” On the Border” is a great place and much better than their stale hard chips that ruin my nachos. Im giving 4 out of 5 stars only cause I know shit happens but you guys clearly had fresher chips there use them when you have to.

So wonderful! Anthony was our server. He treated us with such honor, always checking on us and asking us how he can help our experience. The food was amazing! We really underestimated how much food we were going to get; we ended up taking a whole lot of food home. It was like we did a dine-in AND a DoorDash. Would definitely come back again!

I love visiting this restaurant. It’s just so sad that they branch near my location closed due to business decisions. Now I need to visit the other location that takes 25-30mins to drive for a glads of Mangonada.

Got the new Grilled Texas Burrito. It was actually pretty good but also $17. I thought that was a little high but it tastes good. Service was outstanding and fast and we had a party of 9. The rice and refried beans with the burrito were adequate but nothing special. We arrived just as the restaurant was opening for lunch so we had almost exclusive access. I don’t know if the service is as quick or attentive when the lunch or dinner rush is in full swing. Glad we didn’t have to find out though.

I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your event catering needs. I hired them for a work event and it was a disaster. They were late, completely messed up the order, and didn’t even deliver everything I paid for. If you need a reliable catering service that is punctual and accurate, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Don’t even bother!
