Reviews
When we arrived, they sent us to the back where there was a huge line. We had a reservation and it was already about 15 minutes after that that we ended up cutting the line to try to talk to someone about our reservation. There’s no host stand which made for terrible communication, and the hostess working looked extremely overwhelmed.
When we asked about our reservation, she yelled out to the line, “Who’s the next person in line with a reservation?” When we explained that we had one, everyone else in line also said that they had one. She took us to our table and everyone else got mad.
We were seated for about 15 more minutes until we were able to place our orders. She took our menus and we waited. Our appetizer was good, but a small portion for how much it costs. Our waters were empty as we waited another 30 minutes before she came out with the complimentary bread AFTER the appetizer. She immediately ran away and as we looked around, we saw that everyone else had oil, balsamic, salt, and pepper. I had to call her over to ask if we could have some as well, to which she stole the oil and balsamic from another table to give to us and ran away again. No salt or pepper.
Another 20 minute wait (Over an hour since our orders were taken) and our main dish finally comes out. We’re starving, our waters are empty, and this lady comes up to us with a camera to start taking pictures. She poses us, has my date come to the other side of the table, and then goes off to another table to do the same. I have no idea what the photos were. We were never sent them and it’s not like they used them online or anything.
And now, the food. Where the appetizer honestly wasn’t too bad, the main dishes were awful. Cold, stale, and the flavor was extremely bland. Not at all worth the price.
We asked for the check, which took another 15 minutes to process, and left our nearly 2 hour dining experience still hungry and upset. We did go in on a busy weekend, so maybe that had something to do with how awful this was, but I really don’t recommend going here.
-Good Pricing
-Nice Environment
-Workers were nice and welcoming
-The pasta (Gnochi & Lobster Ravioli) were good and you can tell it was made fresh
-Decent sizing
Cons:
-No service or check ups
-Sauce on dishes were a bit salty and nothing too special. Could probably just make at home
Good, not great food for a great price. Bit salty in flavoring. But the pasta itself was great. Decent amount of food depending on dish. Not alot like bupi de bepo, my partner was full but I was still hungry.
Small little thing, they gave my partner’s add on shrimp (3 shrimp for $5) on my plate, instead of hers.
Service was Lack luster. They were nice, but the only time we talked to our server was when we ordered and then got the check. Wasn’t too busy either, but I give benefit of the doubt.
Sadly we never got more bread, had water refilled, got ask for things (I needed some parm), or asked if we wanted another glass of wine.
The space itself carries a warm, traditional Italian charm, instantly setting the tone for the evening. With wonderful company by my side and an inviting atmosphere around us, I knew we were in for a memorable experience.
As is my custom when trying a new Italian restaurant, I ordered the carbonara—a dish I believe is a true test of authenticity and quality when done right. To my satisfaction, the service was impeccable; our waitress was attentive, and the timing of the meal was perfect. Our dishes arrived promptly, just when our appetites were ready.
The pasta was rich, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyable—certainly a dish worth recommending. Altogether, the experience left a lasting impression, and this is undoubtedly a spot I’ll suggest to others seeking an authentic Italian dining experience.
I don’t want to curse this place with a bad review. It definitely seems like a cozy place to grab a bite on a random evening, but you may want to go looking elsewhere for days you anticipate being more busy. I was so sad to have a less than pleasant experience today.
The manager, Brian, was so amazingly kind and understanding to us. We truly do appreciate his hospitality and can tell that this restaurant is built on a good foundation, if not with staff then with management. You can’t have every day be a good day, and this was just my experience, but please be advised!
