One of our favorite places to eat out in Culver. The menu is extensive and everything is really good. I’m a big fan of the beet / arugula salad and any of their pastas. They also have specials frequently and offer wine tastings! It can get busy and cause the service to be a bit slow, but we have never been let down on the food.

Akasha in Culver City has great food with fresh, quality ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly but a bit slow. Loved the seasonal dishes and cocktails! Taking off one star because of the wait time, but overall, a great dining experience.

Food is so mid – I’m guessing people are mostly coming here for the drinks, which were good! But I was excited to try the apricot special menu they have right now and the chicken was so dry and bland, and just came an apricot covered in liquid sugar on the side? And the cornbread was so incredibly dry and not flavorful. Now the apricot drink was 10/10 so, again, perfect if you just want a place to drink. My bf got an old fashioned and it was also great, but his food was also disappointing – the Strozzapreti. He said it tasted a little too sweet or like the flavor was unbalanced, and also just needed more flavor.

Went for a dinner and happy hour with a friend. My friend had gin & tonic while I had scotch. The atmosphere and vibe was super pleasing. Our hostess was super amazing and helped us get the table as the restaurant opened. For food we had a wide variety from Chicken Wings to Pepperoni Pizza platter. Since the place was so nice so we ended up ordering more food, one of the best highlights was the turkey burger. I usually substitute turkey with chicken but I am so glad I didn’t because the turkey patty was the best and amazing. We had brownie with walnuts and ice cream was the nice way to sum up the evening.

I had the onion rings for an appetizer. I wish there was something else to dip them in but they were still good! Then for an entree I had chicken Parmesan with broccoli. That was very good! The blueberry crumble was okay. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite.
The person I went out with said the pork chops were amazing. The key lime pie was weird.

Yummy food and drink with good vegetarian options about at Akasha. We headed there with a party of 10 after an event at a nearby bookstore and they were able to seat us almost right away on the patio which had plenty of heaters to keep us warm.
The staff was great and delivered the food quickly.
My wife and I shared the Bali Tofu Curry which was beautiful and delicious, and the Arugula & Date Salad which also looked and tasted fantastic. Everything we saw brought out to our fellow diners really looked great and no one had a complaint about anything. Also took a few nibbles on the Garden of Carrots dish which, again looked gorgeous and tasted like a whole spiritual reinvention of carrots.
They really pay a lot of attention to the visual impact the food makes and the flavors that they bring are a perfect match to that aesthetic.
I also had the Golden Hour Cocktail which was bourbon based, though I didn’t taste much bourbon in it. (So either that wasn’t that match or it was just super-well mixed.) It was, at least a delight to look at.
We’d come back and try more.

Very trendy place, Which means interesting foods, But only ONE gluten-free thing-corn meal waffle, although probably the salad and eggs without bread would count as gluten-free. The beets in the salad were extremely salty! Substitution of lemon vinaigrette dressing was very rewarding!

The food presentation was beautiful.
The sweet potato fries were delicious!
We were there Sunday at 11:30 AM, and it wasn’t very filled up, but it was extremely noisy and very slow service. They could use some more waiters!

Had lunch with a friend here today. The hostess was cold and kind of pretentious. She asked me to wait at the bar when I arrived. When I asked her if our table was ready, as others were being seated, she pretended she’d never spoken to me and made us follow her back to the hostess stand instead of apologizing and just showing us to a table. Luckily our server and the food runners were great and made up for her bad attitude. They took really good care of us. However, my salad was filled with too much brown and water logged lettuce that shouldn’t have made it onto a plate. It seemed that they tried to cover up the lack of freshness with extra dressing and cheese. I’ve eaten here many times before but only at dinner and those experiences were better.
